  1. try winblind from stardock, pls refer to website www.stardock.com, You can learn how to silently deploy windows 2000 first, from MSFN, so after installation, you will have everything installed, for me, i have SP4, IE6, DirectX 9.0C, MDAC_TYP, MSJava, device drivers, MediaPlayer9, Hotfixs, important software, registry tweak, all installed, and then after the installation, i do some adjustment and clone the system partition by GHOST, do one bootable auto recovery DVD (image is around 3-4GB), done, a perfect windows 2000 system. By the way, i collect lots of traditional themes and put them on $oem$\$1\Program files\Plus!\themes, when installed, these themes automatically put into the directory and available right away. You can try it. Godel
  2. Dear Friend, it's of course Win2K Pro, even Microsoft XBOX uses Win2K as OS. But you'd better update the main component inside Win2KPro, so it can run as great as the most current system. For performance, Win2K Pro definitely beat WinXP, especially obvious on old system like Pentium III. With DirectX 9.0C, your gaming machine will run as flying....8) i insist on using Win2KPro not only for WinXP's instrusive activation, but also for Win2KPro's stable, high performance! Go get Win2K Pro, and give it a try.... Godel Taipei, Taiwan
  3. Try boot from Win2K CD instead, then choose re-partition & formating the original Disk, it's safer to do a totally clean install..... If you do need to preserve personal data, backup the user profile before the reinstallaion. Good Luck. Godel
