Yes indeed, these emails are a virus. Microsoft does not and will not send executables via email. We even get them here in Redmond, which is really ironic. I do recommend keeping up on any updates (via Windows Update). -Ciam

Hi all, I just stumbled across MSFN today. Looks like a good crowd. I've been a giant customization fan for a long time now. I am a huge fan of the fabulous visual style community, and generally monitor releases in as many places as I can. I'm currently using Krezno's Ergodyne, but tend to change the VS a couple times a week. I work for Microsoft managing the production aspects of several sites, including the Windows XP site. I published a column on icon customization in the Windows XP Expert Zone (Let's Make a Theme: Customize Windows XP), and have another column coming on Visual Styles.
