  1. The latest test version of HFSLIP (60420b) supports UPHClean for Windows 2000. If you're still having problems with it on Windows XP, I'll unlock this new "backdoor" for Windows XP too.
  2. You know... I don't know anything about installing drivers. I never delved into that. All I did was provide the means to add files into DRIVER.CAB. For whatever purpose.
  3. The DriverPack won't be integrated. I've taken a look at it some time ago and HFSLIP needs to be updated to support it.
  4. Just be sure to check if there are any additional files besides the ones inside DRIVER.CAB that need to be included. All HFSLIP does is add the files from HFEXPERT\DRIVERCAB into DRIVER.CAB and update DRVINDEX.INF.
  5. See above. We're trapped in a vicious circle of updating our own posts...
  6. You can add new files too with HFEXPERT\DRIVERCAB. It's not limited to overwriting existing files. But if files need to be modded you're on your own; I just provided a way to add/replace files into DRIVER.CAB.
  7. The problem is not with the addon but with HFSLIP. Anyway, try the latest test release and include the addon. I fixed the problem and it seems that the odyn1982_AudioUtilities_Addon_v1.0.cab addon is handled properly now. Is that the WindowsUpdate.log file from an installation that asks you to install the Windows Update Agent?
  8. If you want to add or replace files in DRIVER.CAB/SP*.CAB you can always use the HFEXPERT\DRIVERCAB folder. I introduced this some time ago but to my knowledge nobody took advantage of it yet. Experiment with it if you like. It only works with merging options A, B or C.
  9. Yes. That's because of that odyn1982_AudioUtilities_Addon_v1.0.cab addon.Concerning your Windows Update problem... I noticed that wuaucpl.cpl is being updated 13 minutes after the Windows Update files are integrated into the new source by HFSLIP. I suppose XPize is doing that as I can't imagine anything else running 13 minutes after new binaries are integrated. Do you still have the WindowsUpdate.log file from a test installation of Windows? It is located inside C:\WINDOWS. Don't confuse it with "Windows Update.log": WindowsUpdate.log = Windows Update Windows Update.log = Windows Update Catalog I need the first.
  10. Download it now... LegitCheckControl.cab
  11. Maybe Microsoft no longer allow it. I'm now working on getting it compatible with Win2K but I'll let the same thing be done for WinXP too for a while to see if it fixes the problem. You can expect a new test release by tomorrow or so.
  12. You need to remove the addon that contains "AEncoder.cab". Where did you download it from?
  13. dziubek... The "Microsoft Windows Publisher" thing is the Windows Update Agent. If you still get this problem, it means WUA20 doesn't slipstream (properly) into a Polish Windows XP. In that case, download the attached file into the HFSLIP folder and run it (SOURCESS folder must be present). Then ZIP the following files and attach it here: - WUfiles.txt (generated by the attached file) - AU.IN_ from SOURCE\I386 - AU.IN_ from SOURCESS\I386 - HFSLIPWU.INF from SOURCESS\I386 getWU.cmd outputs a list of the WUA20 files in the SOURCESS\I386 folder including the creation date. getWU.cmd
  14. If you have problems with Addons I need your txtsetup.sif as well. So your problem with Windows Update is fixed?
  15. You found it?
  16. Your page was updated today... http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...65-972ED21324C4
  17. It should've worked. There's nothing special about the ini file. Did you put it into HFAAO?
  18. The latest version of KB904942-v2 (yes, there's a second version of the second version) is only obtainable from Windows Update or the Windows Update Catalog site. Either download it yourself from the Windows Update Catalog site or use the direct download link in the following thread: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=72590 I just added the Spanish file.
  19. So what's the verdict?
  20. [Edited] Remove the Cumulative MSOE update for XPSP1. You only need the one for SP2. There are a couple of other hotfixes there that are for SP1.
  21. I think the simplest is to install the MDAC update intended for MDAC 2.8 SP1: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...15-51DC6D441365
  22. Which folder did you put those in? I'm using his switchless .NET 1.1, Reader 7.0.7 and JRE 1.5.0_06 installers without problem.
  23. The underscore and the serial number can be deleted, but it's not a must. HFSLIP can handle it.
  24. In the [GuiRunOnce] section, you need to comment out those two lines in the middle as well.
