  4. ATTN NUHI: I tried to PM you... here's what i wrote: Hi. You must be getting sick of me... In case you haven't noticed, i've been desperately trying to slipstream the via 8237 raid controller driver into a windwos x64 CD. I've tried EVErYTHING i've found on these forums, as well as every combination there is. Nothing has worked This is my last try... contacting the maker himself. Now, you're obviously very smart and all, so hopefully, this may get me closer to getting these stupid drivers slipstreamed. Here is the link to the drivers in case you need more info (Version - 4.30g) http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageI...60&SubCatID=143 The closet i got to acheiving a boot cd with the drivers integrated is having it detect my stripped array, and halfway through installing windows i would get a BSOD. please, give me hand. Thank you.
  5. Yeah, i kind of figured that out eventually. I only have one INF file though. So i just put that one there. Still... no matter what i did, it didn't work.
  6. nope didn't work. Have you done this yourslef>
  7. Just about to try this. Although, i'm sceptical, as i've never heard or seen 'fasttx2k.INF","UlSata.inf","viapide.inf' before
  8. Hi. Can you explain what you just said? Trying to introduce what other method?
  9. Hi all. I've been trying endlessly to slipstream the VIA 8237 SATA RAID drivers into a bootable windows x64 CD. I have not been able to suceed. I'm used the latest nLite to 'strip' any unwanted stuff from my Windows CD, and also used it to integrate my drivers, including the said VIA 8237 drivers. (came up with warning asking me if it was a TEXTMODE driver or something) I burnt made the image, burnt it to CD and it didn't detect my stripped array. So, i go back to nLite, do the same things, but also manually add the VIA 8237 'F6' driver to my windows root directory, using every method i've found by searching every website i've found. Nothing has worked. What am i doing wrong? Can someone please help!?

  11. Man, i'm trying to integreate these via raid drivers into a windows xp 64 disk. No one so far can help me. Did any of you guys figure it out
  12. Hi all. I'm desperately trying to create an unattended windows x64 boot cd that includes the 'F6' drivers for installing windows on a PC with no floppy drive, and no non-RAIDed HDD's. I've got everything i need. the latest version of nLite, the latest 'F6' drivers from via, the latest hotfixes. I've burnt 4 cd's so far trying different things, but none seem to have the drivers integrated into it, as i can't when booting off the CD, it won't detect my array. I've looked around the net looking for a solution, but non so far have worked. Most of the 'guides' are for the silicon and nforce RAID controllers. Please, if you have a minute to spare, help me!! thanks
  13. Hi all, I'm making a Unattended Windows Install disk. I'm using nLite, and there is the option there to integrate hotfixes in to the CD. But i can't find where to download them. Can you guys help out? I went here: http://files.aoaforums.com/index.php?dir=228 , but they say that those fixes are from last year. Are there any more recent hotfixes available to download?
  14. Is it possible to create a Windows boot cd that includes RAID drivers Hi all. I've been recently playing around with 'nlite'. (http://www.nliteos.com/nlite.html) I was wanting to make it so i didn't have to go through that 'press F6' crap every time i want to boot from windows CD. Thing is, my floppy has recently died, so i either have to go buy one of the stupid things, or steal my brothers everytime i need to boot from the CD. So, i gave nlite a whirl, and included the boot drivers for my VIA RAID controller, made an image, and gave it a try. It still asks for the stupid floppy disk, other wise it can't detect my array. So, is it possible to have teh raid drivers on the windows CD? Also, while i have your attention, and there any hotfixes for windows 64 yet? If so, were can i download them so i can include them in my boot cd. One more thing... when i include drivers, such as ATI video drivers, will these drivers be installed straight up once installing windows?
