  1. HEY!!!!! To everyone looking for a modified MSI for Photoshop and/or Illustrator. Installing with a modified MSI will invalidate your warantee. Now, There is a much easier way to do what you are looking for. To get rid of the "Please register.." dialogs after the installs, just create teh folowing registry entries: Photoshop CS2: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Adobe Photoshop CS2 - {236BB7C4-4419-42FD-0409-1E257A25E34D}] "EPIC_REGS_COUNT"=dword:00000000 "EPIC_REGS_DATE"="2005-06-21 10:37" "EPIC_REGS_LANG"=dword:00000000 "EPIC_REGS_STATE"=dword:00000002 "EPIC_REGS_TYPE"=dword:00000004 Illustrator CS2: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{B2F5D08C-7E79-4FCD-AAF4-57AD35FF0601}] "EPIC_REGS_COUNT"=dword:00000000 "EPIC_REGS_DATE"="2005-06-21 10:37" "EPIC_REGS_LANG"=dword:00000000 "EPIC_REGS_STATE"=dword:00000002 "EPIC_REGS_TYPE"=dword:00000004 This will prevent the registration dialog from appearing. If you have the software to do so, you can create a transform off the original MSI containing these entries. for the serial number, just add it to the command line. Photoshop: %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /i"Adobe Photoshop CS2.msi" ISX_SERIALNUM="1045-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX" /qb+ Illustrator: %windir%\system32\msiexec /i "Adobe Illustrator CS2.msi" /qb+ SERIALNUMBER="1034-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX" Photoshop requires the ISX_SERIALNUM property, and Illustrator requires the SERIALNUMBER property. I will admit to having skimmed the last three pages of posts. If Anyone else has other issues, give me a ring bwbublitz @ Ra.rockwell.com
