If all you want to do is learn various commands and perhaps some shell scripting I would highly recommend "Windows NT Shell Scripting" by Tim Hill. The book is awesome and has a lot of detailed descriptions for shell commands. As the title implies it was written for Windows NT, but it is still relevant to XP for the most part. Like Sunil said above though, this site will give you a lot of the info you are looking for. Toddgator
