still no luck! i tried by injecting the key to HIVESFT.inf: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceInstall\Settings] "SuppressNewHWUI"=dword:00000001 HKLM,"Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceInstall\Settings","SuppressNewHWUI",0x00010003,1 the windows hardware wizard still appears at T25 please any help to kill that window will be appreciated! i'm having exactly same problem.. i have searching a lot without success for this problem.. i'm using latest nlite i have integrated driverpack method 2 and it works for the retail english version XP PRO + SP3 but the spanish version i'm getting the same stuff.. is asking me for the drivers about the terminal server.. when missing 25 minutes of the installation making the installation useless in the way it's not unattended anymore.. i don't know why windows ask for those files if those drivers are in the Sp3.cab i'm having exactly same problem as SRJ i wonder what file should i edit to correct this issue?, is this driverpack bug or nlite bug still persist ? looking deeper i found this : http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/938596 so maybe taking that way i could import that key before the text installation mode ends and that could possibly end the issue. another way could be using the txtsetup.sif as explained here combined with the previous info to correct this..: http://gosh.msfn.org/infresh.htm any advices/tips are welcome.. please i'm hungry for knowledge to correct this bug someone help me on this please.. everything is working fine on my system except this.. i wonder if there's some registry trick like a limit of items to display there or file.. because those trick don't work. in TweakUI i see the New Text Document there checked.. but on the right mouse click there's not. My Best Regards

did long time ago my friend but still haven't found a solution from google.. what i mean is to extend or add new items to the New menu that appears when you right click the mouse Under win9x i was checking the Tweak UI for latest Unofficial Service pack 2.1a , and the part that says New .. OK... all i can see is that you can disable some of them by unselecting desire items .. but when i uncheck some and press OK .. some of them that i didn't uncheck disappear . when i ran the TweakUI again i checked all of them but nothing happends and the most i like, Notepad , office documents.... are gone... even if i have checked all items from the TweakUI , i can see all of them there but they are not on the right click menu anyone know how to solve this issue ??? need some registry refresh or something ? well guys... i will start from the begin.. i have DualBoot OS win98 and XP.. XP installed on drive D:/ and 98 installed on C:/ i was trying to solve a problem posted here before on the Win98 sections.. i booted with a floopy disk into DOS and did the command : sys C: then i did also sys D: ..ok all went fine.. but went i restart i don't longer see the the menu to pick/choose the OS i want to load... the win98 start right up after booting and i can't choose which windows to load.. now i can't any longer use my winXP ... which files i have to recover or modify again to get my windows XP back?? ...please guys someone help me out with this..i'm really desperate with this .. i can't imagine or thing i have to format my XP/disk to get this back to work. i will check those files ... but either autoexec.bat & config.sys don't have anything strange .. the dosstart.bat has 0 kb and no data in it... what do you have on that file as data???.. also i was thinking it could be a bad hard disk sector or fragmentation.. what do you think? My BEst Regards

i'm not sure if this is matter of applying latest SP 2.0 final but when i restart in MS-DOS mode and i write command Scandisk/all to scan my disk drives nothing happend the window stays reading and nothing .. all the time was OK.. now i wonder how i can re-activate this feature.. does anyone knows anything about it ?? ..i got now installed SP 2.01 ..but the problem still remains .. maybe there's some command disabled by some application for DOS.. so far i see my scandisk now works only under Windows but not in DOS.. some other commands like scanreg still works. any ideas? please help My Best Regards
