  1. Within the linked Intel page with the Matrix Storage Manager you will find a 32bit and a 64bit Floppy Configuration Utility, but I am not sure if you can use them without a floppy drive. To make it easier for you I have unzipped, repacked and uploaded the needed S-ATA driver folders ready for the integration: Intel_SATARAID_32bit Intel_SATARAID_64bit
  2. 1. Vista x64: You should be able to get Vista x64 installed onto your system without loading any drivers, because Vista has suitable S-ATA drivers (but not the newest and best) in the box. Nevertheless it will be a good idea to load the content of the "Driver64" folder of the actual Intel Matrix Storage Manager package v. 7.6.0.1011 at the beginning of the Vista installation. 2. Windows XP (32bit): If you have AHCI enabled within your BIOS, you have to load/integrate the 32bit Intel S-ATA AHCI Controller drivers, which are part of the actual Intel Matrix Storage Manager package v. 7.6.0.1011 too. You should download it from Intel's homepage, unzip it and integrate the content of the "Driver" folder as TEXTMODE driver by using nLite. At the same time you can integrate the actual Intel INF driver package v. 8.3.1.1009 as PnP drivers. EDIT: Here are the links to both driver packages: Intel Matrix Storage Manager Intel INF drivers
  3. Did you really use a clean (=untouched) XP CD as source?
  4. That's what I thought too.Good luck! Fernando
  5. Here is the text of my guide: During the "Integrate Drivers" part of nLite you have to integrate your just prepared nVRaid driver subfolder (LEGACY or SATARAID depending on the driver integration method you are going to use) as textmode drivers. You have to take both of the nForce Sata/Raid Controller drivers nLite proposes. To make it easier for you, nLite has already enabled both needed drivers. The choice of the suitable sound driver depends on the sound chip of your motherboard.Look into your manual to find the exact type of sound chipset and then you will find here the correct driver. EDIT: If you have downloaded and unzipped the suitable sound driver, it will be no problem at all to integrate it into a bootable XP CD by using nLite.
  6. There is no essential need to integrate any special graphics driver into your bootable XP CD, because the integrated graphic chip will work with the Windows standard graphics driver.Nevertheless you should integrate or install (after the successful XP Setup) the latest NVIDIA Forceware driver. You will find it at NVIDIA's download home page. I think, that this driver will be the best one for you.
  7. You cannot use Vista nForce chipset drivers for pre-Vista Operating Systems as Windows XP (it makes no difference, if you have XP Home or XP Professional). These drivers will not work at all for you! EDIT: Take these nForce chipset drivers!
  8. Normally you haven't to do anything - nLite will automaticly integrate the SATARAID folder as TEXTMODE driver (because this driver folder has a file named TXTSETUP.OEM) and the SATA_IDE folder as PnP driver (PnP drivers don't have a TXTSETUP.OEM file). There has to be a file named TXTSETUP.OEM within the SATARAID folder. If not, please post the nForce chipset driver package version you are using.
  9. The Intel ICH8R/9R SataRaid drivers will be automaticly installed during the Windows XP Setup procedure.Nevertheless I recommend to run the iata76_cd.exe after the complete XP installation (to get all functions of the Intel Matrix Storage manager).
  10. You will find the needed drivers within the Intel Matrix Storage Manager. Here is the link. To make the driver integration easier for you I have uploaded just the needed Intel ICH8R/ICH9R SataRaid drivers. You may take it from here.
  11. The driver you have used is a very old (dated May 2004) Raid driver and only useful with a Promise Raid Controller (FastTrak TX4000/S150 TX Series). The SataRaid driver you need doesn't depend on the details of your hdd, but on the details of the Raid Controller of your mainboard. Look onto your mainboard and into your mainboard manual and post, which RAID Controller you are using (for example nForce4, Intel ICH8R, Silicon Image 3112 etc.). Then we will help you to find the suitable SataRaid driver for the integration into a bootable XP-CD by using nLite.
  12. Just unpack it by using a tool like 7-zip or WinRar. EDIT: My idea obviously was not good. Do what mhyll has written in the following post.
  13. Both languages will be installed and you have the option to switch between them.If you start booting of the Vista DVD, you can choose the default language, but you can change it later at any time (Control Panel > Regional Settings).
  14. Everything is fine as it is. There is no need for the TXTSETUP.OEM file within the nForce RAID driver folder of your nLited CD.The TXTSETUP.OEM file contains some informations, which are needed for the correct installation of mass storage controller devices and is only needed during the very first (=TEXTMODE) part of the Windows OS installation (otherwise the OS Setup routine wouldn't be able to detect your RAID device). NLite uses the informations of this OEM file, but you don't see the file itself within your nLited CD.
  15. If you don't need any nForce IDE (S-ATA/Raid) drivers, you can integrate the nForce Ethernet and Audio drivers as PnP drivers. This thread was started to help users with an nForce SataRaid system. That is the reason why you didn¨t find the requested informations. That's my exact question! Do I need any nForce SATA/RAID drivers if I have such controllers in the motherboard, but am only using the IDE controllers? No!If you want to use NVIDIA's native IDE driver (nForce P-ATA = IDE s/w driver), you should integrate the LEGACY subfolder of the 6.86 chipset driver package as PnP driver, but many users reported, that they had less problems by using the XP in-box MS IDE drivers.
  16. Which Vista version (x86 or x64) and which tool did you use instead of WAIK?
  17. They have WAIK as prerequisite. The current version of the Vista Update Integrator doesn't work with Vista x64 (it doesn't even start working). As I couldn't install the German language package onto my running Vista x64 (I always got an error and the install failed), I tried mhyll's batch file, and I succeeded - it worked like a charme for me! Thanks for editing the batch file and thanks for your explanation how to use it. Little side note: MiniPETools didn't work for me, I had to use WAIK.
  18. You may test it, but I doubt, that you will succeed by just disabling the OEMPreinstall option. Why don't you just integrate the nForce S-ATA and RAID drivers into your bootable XP CD's by using nLite? Even if there is no nForce RAID array, you won't get any problems, because Windows Setup will only install drivers, when it finds the associated hardware. If you want to use the "Unattended Install" part without using the "Driver Integration" part of nLite, there is still the possibility to manually integrate the nForce S-ATA and RAID drivers into your nLited CD before creating the ISO file., but I don't see any reason for going that hard way.
  19. You are welcome. It makes me happy to possibly having saved a job of someone by just writing a little post within a forum. CU Fernando
  20. This is not an issue of nLite, but an issue of the Windows Setup routine! If the Windows Setup routine finds a file named WINNT.SIF (contains instructions for the unattended install) within the i386 directory, it will not find the textmode drivers you will load via F6/floppy.As you have created a WINNT.SIF file by putting the CD key into the nLited CD, the F6 method will not work. You have 2 options to solve the problem: 1. Create a new nLited CD without implementing the CD key. 2. Create a new nLited CD with integrated nForce SataRaid drivers.
  21. If you don't need any nForce IDE (S-ATA/Raid) drivers, you can integrate the nForce Ethernet and Audio drivers as PnP drivers. This thread was started to help users with an nForce SataRaid system. That is the reason why you didn¨t find the requested informations.
  22. Yes, the MediaShield (=nVRaid BIOS) version is normally shown at the second bootscreen. You have to look quickly, because the screen is only shown for a short moment.
  23. Look into the first post of this thread and then you will recognise the reason for your problem. You have to integrate the nForce SataRaid drivers into the XP CD. That is exactly what I have recommended within the first post of this thread!
  24. Fine, that you succeeded at least! CU Fernando
  25. Are you sure, that you get Vista x64 installed onto your nForce RAID without loading any special nForce SataRaid drivers? Vista x64 is not easy to install because of the lack of really working nForce SataRaid drivers.Which nForce chipset does your motherboard have?
