Hi all, I have Motorola Razr v8 that dropped down in the water and I tried to get it fixed but I didn't. I already get a new one, however I wonder If there is any way that I can get use of my old mobile (I do not wanna to sell it, I am looking for utilize it in any way) btw, the mobile now is not responding to any thing and it is OFF. looking forward to hear from all of you.

I mean when I wanna to make an installation package for any software HOW can I perform installation for only the user who use this account? and yes, I know SID

Hi all, I wanna to perform an installation to a specific profile only. So that I goolged and found that I need to change the following registry entry HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-xxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx-xxxx But as you all know that this number is changed from a computer to another and this number is depend on your SID. Thus What Should I do?

That is OK for my laptop (D610) but what if i wanna to add boot through PXE for my old Desktop PC?

Okay, I tried to use Remote Desktop Connection for connecting to my computer remotely and it worked and all but cause more then one person uses this computer, I would interfere with whatever they were doing at the same time. I also tried pcAnywhere but it also interfere with the user of PC which I don't wanna. I want to connect remotely without interfering with whatever they're doing. connect it so they won't even know I was there. have an ftp connection to my computer that does a great job gaining access remotely without bothering them. My question is, is there another way to set up my computer so I can connect to it remotely without using Remote Desktop Connection or FTP Clients connection? Some Facts about my comp. -Uses Windows XP Professional, The computer that will connect to this computer is using Windows XP Professional. -I have cable internet, other computer does too. -Both uses Ethernet Network Cards.

@ DigeratiPrime, Guide to create bootable floppy/cd/dvd/usb image http://etherboot.org/wiki/removable I try it but it didn't work with me. I try it with my laptop [Dell Latitude D-610] first I tried to get the network card which it Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx but I couldn't find it so I choose the to download bnx2 family hope that any one of them work with mine but none of them work with me. Any ideas!! btw, Are there any download live CD based on Linux that can do the whole of job instead of searching for my driver as most Linux Live CDs have the drives of all drivers in the PCs?!

Hi all. I have an old PC that BIOS does not support PXE boot so that I wonder Is there is any way to add PXE to this old PC? I googled a lot and find a lot of tools that are used under Linux. Any Idea will be really great

Hi all It is working now. The Linux on my USB pen drive is boot that is after I install PLOP Linux to my MBR of the Hard disk. Thanks for all of your help also thanks for PLOP developer for this great support

Jaclaz Very interesting Is there is any tut for that?! and Is this process done using assembly language or C ? I already have a linux on my stick as I use it on the laptop. So it was the first thing that I give it a try till I prepare another OS on the stick.--- Xtreme

This working with me. yeah finally I boot USB But the boot process is not complete I have Live Linux in my USB stick. When I boot from it 1. vmlinuz -------------------- OK 2. initrd.gz ------------------- don't complete the loading and it [►restart◄] !! So, what may the case of this problem? I have some Qs about this page. Q1. In the [Features] there is No extra partition for the boot manager. I don't hear about any need to make a partition for boot only!! and If this is right, Why should I do that? as I have a primary partition that I can use it for boot, What will be its size? Q2. In the [Linked partitions - hotkeys] section You select, what partition you want to boot with this profile. The boot manager set a bios drive number automatically. It's possible to change it with another key. How this could be? @ Ascii2, UHCI --------------► older USB 1.x OHCI --------------► Newer USB 1.x EHCI ---------------► USB 2.0 So I think mine USB may be 1.1 !! .I don't have the problem with making my USB flash driver a bootable one. The problem is my BIOS don't support boot from USB flash driver so it is not available in the boot order.

So, Is there a solution/way to boot from USB instead of buy new Motherboard ?!

Anyway I am BACK :-) I read the whole Questions and try what is suggested in the Q#5 but non of them working with me 1. Motto Hairu► This method is used to add USB support to DOS so that you can access and use these USB under DOS NOT to boot from !! 2. Grub4Dos ► I read diddy Tutorial and I can't find any reference to boot from USB also I find these lines in the Tut btw, Q#4 is trying to make USB boot like CD/HD. I check my USB controller and find it OHCI (not so bad for this old PC How could this help? My problem is with my BIOS !! It is True man, but how can I do the flip stick<->HD ? Thank you man but I still have the same error as above so it seam that I have NAT. So How I can deal with that NAT? btw, Why you said that ID =3? ID is just a numbering system not have any meaning. also Why I should type my INTERNAL address in Host IP Address? why I don't use that IP that came in the error page? This IP still that same whatever I change my Host IP to any number.

Hello all, I am a newbie to this forum and I wanna to open a port in my router so that I can use this port for uTorrent program. First: I don't know the type of my router. I know it is Billion but which version that what I don't know? here is the page of my router Anyway I check all the billion pages in the website and I can't find my a page that is similar to mine. Second: I follow that the main points that I understand from all the pages of other Billion. 1. I go to Virtual Server page in my router. 2. Then enter the port number and IP as follow. 3. Save and restart the router. Then I test this if the port 10011 that it is supposed to be opened if it work or not, I get this So What shall I do?!!
