Since I did the update all the apps except for scandisk show their version as 5.02 as they did before the update. Scandisk is reporting 5.1 is that right. The reason I ask is I still cant format a cd under directcd. It gets about 1/2 way then chucks up an error.

I have tried norton speedisk 2002 and diskeeper 7, diskeeper is in my opinion better and quicker

I sure hope so, I had so much trouble getting niggly little things to work, would hate to have to do it again

Doing help about windows gives version as build 2600.xpclient.010817-1148 Is this the last version or are there later ones, more to the point if there are newer ones will this version expire on me at some point TIA manny
