Ello, I'm planning to buy a Samsung 931BW or 940BW. I've been using a CRT montior so I don't really know what's the diff between VGA and DVI. Anyone mind giving me advice on this? Thanks =)

Thanks nitro =) That mobo would do well and is 500HKD cheaper. @punto I'll be using the computer for general, but more accented on gaming. Moderate Photoshop/AutoCAD use. Games won't really be that heavy(mostly online games). Should I buy a new HDD? I have a 160GB HDD (IDE/PATA) already but wondering if I should buy a SATA drive.

Most probably...1200-1500 USD or less, haven't really calculated all that yet but that's about the rough estimation. =) But for the main parts (like the parts above) it's around $1000 below. *Changed budget, converted it wrongly =)

This march I'm gonna build a new rig, since the one I'm using now is a 7-year-old rig (^^ This is my first time building a computer, and I think I'm gonna need a lot of advice...any will do =) I'm confused if I should buy an SLI mobo or not...since I'm only going to use one video card. This is my current list(the parts that I'm going to consider most): AMD Athlon64 X2 4600+ GeForce 7600GT Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 (2x1GB sticks) Antec NeoHE 500/550 Motherboard = ? I've picked a M2N32-SLI mobo but not really sure 'cause I might just waste money on it's extra features for using only one card... Any advice on what motherboard I should choose? Thanks =)

Well lol, I've found a solution, my BIOS doesn't provide the intrusion Chassis security thing. It was because of a **** jumper >.< I took it out from the chassis pins, had trouble locating them. But anyways I've fixed it....(hates jumpers) ASUS A7N266-VM mobos doesn't seem to be very nice. I took like 3 hours before I actually could get past that message.

Hi all, I have a problem with booting up. When I boot up, the BIOS screen comes out and says "The system intruded, chassis opened or tempered before." What's the problem? Thank you very much for the help.

Btw, is there any performance difference between using the external drive, from using the HD directly from the case? Just curious because of the USB connecting the exDrive to the case. And also, since I have a new HD(160GB), how do I format it in XP?

Well, I just bought a new casing...thought that it could hold 2 HDs, but then, it could actually hold one >.< I have 2 HDs now, I bought one Seagate Barracudda 7200.9 160GB, and one 40GB. What could I do or buy in order to have those 2 drives installed in my case? Is there any physical HD extensions? (BTW, off topic- is something wrong with the forums? I can't seem to load them properly.)

Well, as I've said, I'm on vacation, but I remember it's on the P- series of ASUS. Are ATA HDDs compatible with most mobos?

What did the warning box say? I have an SP2 too but didn't get any, only a box that says I need some CD, if you get one of those, ignore it, the computer will restart again and then it's done.
