  1. I then updated the AIP according to the instructions found here, applying both the 8.1.0 then the 8.1.1 patches Then I copied setup.exe, setup.ini & my MST file into the new, updated AIP, & changed the settings accordingly I now have two directories on the network: one for the original package that came off of the 8.0 CD plus its MST, and another for the updated AIP with its MST. I keep the original because of updating issues I'd experienced with 7.x in the past. I can run setup over the network unattended using a batch file no prob. I've done all this and it does work, but the package has grown from 400MB to 800MB, being that I'm pushing this out to 350 users Im trying to keep this as small as possible. Is there a way to recreate the Data1.cab file and allow the msi to read it ok, instead of having this uncompressed AIP. I recreated the cab using makecab but the msi cant find the files within the cab so fails. Any help appreciated. (using Acrobat 8 Pro)
  2. I am trying to use this on Acrobat 8 Pro, I have tried using the ReCab.bat batch file to recreate the Data1.cab file. But this still errors during the install saying the installer cant find files within the cab file. Are there any changes that need to be done to the batch file to use this on Acrobat v8 Pro? Even running the batch file on the cab file copied from the install media creates the same error. Have created an admin install and slipstreamed in upto 8.1.1 with mst file containing key etc, would just like to compress and repackage down into another cab file. Thanks for any help.
  3. Am having this exact same issue with Acrobat 8 Pro. The original data1.cab file is around 400mb, after admin install and slipstreaming the unpacked structure has gone upto 800mb. Is there an updated batch file to create the required ddf file for v8 Pro? And package into a new cab file. Any help appreciated
  4. Is it possible to slipstream individual Office 2003 application installs? Our standard install for workstations is for Office 2003 Standard - which I have created and slipstreamed fine. But we have a few users individually licenced for Access 2003 - I would like to create a slipstreamed install of this, but cant use Office 2003 Pro as we're not licenced for this Tried using the command below: msiexec /p C:\SP2\MAINSP2ff.msp /a C:\Office2003\ACC11.msi SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb but get the error attached. Same .msp file has been used to patch the STD11.msi with no problems and paths etc correct Any help appreciated
