you do not need anything like that mate, just your xp disk if your have it. go threw the reinstall phase untill it say repair using con type /help and your looking for new mbr or fix mbr can not remember which one run that and follow onscreen once done do a scndsk and job is done

Ok just running secedit now to see what happens I am trying to run the gpo from active directory, I have made a OU called home and have right click the OU properties (forgive my spelling) group pol, new, and have set the security up from there, and thats as far as it will go. Any help

hi how do you get GPO's to run in a windows 2k server. Windows 2k server windows 2k workstations user in active directory, and in the OU Home Right click the OU, and set up GPO all seems ok When user logs on GPO have not made any changes What am I doing wrong

LOL ok here is my problem, which I need to get sorted my morning. (I wish) Set up 1 Windows 2003 Server 100 win2k Clients Workstations Just ran Ghost on the IT Suite some 50 workstations ghost went across fine Now No One in the school can log on, Computers that were ghosted and computers that were not. I made no changes to the server. ran ghost from a workstation. When I try to log on I get the following Could not log you on as computer account could not be found on primary server. I changed the sid on one computer and it is now on the network and is working fine. tried the same thing on a couple of other workstations nothing. Zip On the server I am unable to look at the clients, telling me that the client could not be reached due to trust. In A/D computers there is only the one I changed the sid for the others are not there. Please help
