  1. Any way I can remove silently the Asp .net account created when you Install framework .Net? Cause it's quite annoying and useless...
  2. thanks man! I opened the exe with an hex editor, found the stamp and put it into the registry and now magically everything works! for 6.1.0.2 is 20070105222255...
  3. Does anybody know how to correctly generate the "Stamp" value in the registry? This somehow controls the behaviour of the automatic updates and the popup menu at the windows start... when the Stamp is in the registry the menu doesn't show up when windows starts, and I can disable automatic updates with CheckUpdate Dword set to 0... if Stamp is not present the menu obviously pops up and the updates are enabled even if CheckUpdate is 0... help?
  4. @prathapml thanks, this should work for me. But now I need another information. The device is not already listed in the hardware list, so I should "emulate" the action that "check for new hardware" does... the problem is that the device is connected, but not listed, and is recognised only when I click on the "check for new hardware"... maybe there's a winmessage or a api call... Edit: I've just tried the regtweak, but it seems to do nothing... the wizard show up as usual... I think the only solution is to add manually the device to the list, but... the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB is locked... I cant add any information under that key... any idea to enable this?
  5. ****, this doesn't work. It keeps asking for drivers... is there any way I can add a device manually?
  6. I get an error on the second step of the app: it fails in the search of the directory. The drivers are in E:\Drivers. In the ini I inserted Unattended_cd=Off Drivers_drive=REMOVABLE Drivers_dir=\Drivers Device_manager=On Method=RegistryDevicePath and it gives me an error
  7. I can successfully use SetupCopyOEMInf function, but this doesn't have any effect, cause when I plug the device the system, instead of using the preloaded drivers, ask for new ones...
  8. Is there any way I can remove the request of the drivers when a device is plugged? I mean the wizard that begins saying "Connect to WinUpdate? Yes, only this time. Yes, everytime. No". That's because I cannot preload the drivers before the device is plugged, so the only way to do this silently is removing the request, and then install the drivers after the device is recognized. Any solution?
  9. Strange... I can get the image clicking on it... maybe I need another Image-hosting service...
  10. I'm not so good in programming... however, I'll give it a try... thanks for your reply!
  11. Hello, I've used the switch /bootlogo in boot.ini to load custom bootscreens, but the last I have tried has something wrong. For some reason, when at boot time it shows the image, it has a white border all around, which shoudn't be there. This happens only with this image (I've attached it), all others I've tried works perfectly. Perhaps you could try it out and see if it causes you the same problem. If anyone can help me, thanks in advance... Here Is The Bootscreen
  12. Is there some window message to do this? I'd like to be able to highlight and icon (a file or a folder) in explorer window, just like when you click on it. To give you and idea, when you complete a download in Download Accelerator +, in the popup you can select "open folder" and it opens the folder that contains the downloaded file, with the file already focused. That's what I'm trying to do... If anyone can help me, thanks in advance...
