  1. Ntfs "private" Folder

    Had the exact same problem today and solved it in a much easier way. You can actually take over the ownership of the folder by following this procedure described on Microsoft.com http://support.microsoft.com/kb/810881/en-us You dont need to boot from the hard drive you took from the original computer.
