Is it known yet whether Firefox 115 ESR support will be extended in February 2026? It seems it will end permanently then, because I can't find currently any information about it being extended again. In a sense this is surprising, the W7 and 8.1 market share seems to be fairly stable, and Mozilla previously indicated that they considered the market share high enough to provide 115 ESR with security updates. On the other hand, I hope Firefox 153 ESR will work on W7 and 8.1, so we can continue with updates for at least another year. Pale Moon and CatsXP are still supported W7+ Supermium W XP+ without Widevine DRM (7+ with Widevine DRM) In total there are 5 good browser options now for W7+ Firefox 115 ESR Firefox 147 Fixed CatsXP Pale moon Firefox quamtum engine Supermium Do anyone known any another browsers supporting W7+?

They are now hardcoded to require internal Windows files only present on W10+ And it is impossible to import/inject this files? Or rewrite them with another code to fake software? (as rewrite Windows libraries for Linux Wine)

can someone run newest Firefox on W7/8.1 now? I have found that that someone is successful to run Chromium 115 on Windows XP (and Vista i think) This version is also newer than the last official supported version on W7/8.1, Chromium 109. It is very strange to see the W10/11 UI on Windows XP. It was better that it run with the XP UI in my opinion. CatsXP kernel version 133 beta is out and running on W8.1.

CatsXP Browser currently running on Chromium kernel 131 on W7+ NOW 132 BETA is out.

Supermium, Chromium 126 kernel??? now we are on 131 kernel. Chrome 109 works also, the question is what Chromium based browsers are updated on W7+

And are there also still another Chromium based browsers that still support W7+ or W8.1+?? I preffer Chromium, better and more extensions. Better support. @mshultz Thanks you i add it in my post. But is Waterfox full supported or bug/security fixes only?
