    I also find:

     --disable-file-system --disable-gpu

...to be helpful in both 360 and DC Browser. In fact, I use for DC Browser:

    --no-first-run --disable-file-system --disable-gpu --disable-logging --disable-webg --disable-component-update --disable-background-networking --ssl-version-min=tls1.2 --enable-strict-mixed-content-checking --no-pings

Tons of flags that I'll write later today. Overall a better option than V12 IMHO, and maybe (just maybe) the autor will discover a way to update it again :)

We're gonna bring DC Browser back to life, of course, when you are feeling up to it, No rush, just get better and stronger each day and try to detox just little each from from the madness.

thanks for flags you provided. "--disable-file-system --disable-gpu" really works in term of memory relief. I can see when a thread of memory release as a tag is closed. I can't find what "--disable-file-system" do it seems disable file sytem file api but nothing in detail.

For DC browser update I will be looking forward it. :)

This has also happend to me, as well.

You could try and enable the flag:

    Automatic tab discarding
If enabled, tabs get automatically discarded from memory when the system memory is low. Discarded tabs are still visible on the tab strip and get reloaded when clicked on. Info about discarded tabs can be found at chrome://discards. – Mac, Windows

    #automatic-tab-discarding

    Also:

    "Settings">"Lab"

    You could tick:

Automatically discard background tabs when browser uses too much RAM <--This I DO use

Reminder to optimize memory when browser uses too much RAM <--This one I don't use

    Good luck!

Is is possible we can come up a setting that I saw in browser like Slimjet called "Optimization period" which allows memory release in timed interval? Thanks.

Some issues with persistent storage with extensions tend to appear with 360EE. Try using an equivalent adblock extension if you want to test if the same happens.

It is exactly the same just with a XP theme, some custom flags (configurations) when starting the browser and the capacity of installing extensions directly from the google webstore removed. All of which can be added to what I share.

    Cheers.

Thanks for your confirmation. I've been using both versions in recent days and found ungoogle one doesn't support P2P download acceleration, is it safe to add it back?

Second, ungoogle build is very hard to change default search engine. I added other search engine in bottom section but I can't move it to top panel so it can be selected for default. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I've avoided V12 altogether because I see no reason to use it. For me, its just as annoying as V13 in that videos still skip (less so in DC Browser), so, for me, its either V11 or go right to V13; and if you're not concerned with resources, I would recommend V13 or 13.5. The advantage is that Arctic Foxie ungoogled builds take it a step further to deal with the google cookies, but both had telemetry removed, so yes to your question.

That is just my humble (and simple) opinion, and of course, you know what they say about opinions ...:roll1:

I agree so far v11 is best in term of memory consumption. but in some cases v11 can also top of 1gb and I have to manually click memory release button even the option of automatic memory release was selected.

    Hi again..

You could also take a look at this thread by our own @Sampei.Nihira ... I do hope you are doing well as I've not seen you around as much lately.

On my @NotHereToPlayGames v11 just now...

    Give it a try :)

Thanks for your advice. I will give a try. BTW, the ArcticFoxie build you mentioned is same telemetry-free modified as the build posted in this thread? Thanks.

Hello. If you refer to v13.0.2310.0, the lastest update for it was on 04/25/22. The lastest updates for v9, v11, v12 and v13.0.2250.0 were done after v13.0.2310.0, that is why the dates are different. They are all in Internet Archive.

    Cheers.

I've been using v11 for a while. It works very well thanks for your effort. But I found issue with extension when Adguard installed. When I tried to select Specific Language filter and clicked Adguard chinese filter the setting can't be remembered after returned top menu. Such issue isn't found in Minibrowser though. Thanks.

Thanks for your notice. I found a message pops out and states 360 browser may corrupt and suggest checking it with antivirus software. It causes download failed. However after closed message windows and restarted download everything is back to normal, no more warning message. Is this OK?

    Thanks.

    - Updated v9, v11, v12 and v13.0.2250.0 EN and CN versions with lastest minor edits I mentioned before.

If I don't find anything else to edit, this will be the final update for all those versions (including v13.0.2310.0 EN and CN).

    Cheers.

Feel sorry to ask where I could download this latest update? The one downloaded from archive.org is built on 04/15/22. Thanks.
