  7. Is the SSL Certificate Failed problem a common issue on this? I keep getting it when navigating to a bunch of websites, is this because they have no SHA-1 certificate hence failing to work?
  8. Yes, its working fine now I just had to keep trying until i got the prompt about unrecognised windows files
  9. EDIT: Ignore that, it seems I had to just replace it one more time and it worked perfectly. Getting many posts to the right place now seems to be working. Thank you!
  10. Ok so! New error, I am using a virtual machine with the VMTools installed so I don't understand why this has happened by if you could help that would be amazing. Here are the 2 machines side by side and as u can see the error code is 0x80072F8F and is related to the time and date but as u can see they are both synced
  11. Is there any patches I need to install? I am just getting stuck on Checking if your computer has the latest version of windows updating software for use with the website. EDIT: after it took forever to load I got Error code: 0x8DDD0004
  12. How do you get ProxHTTPSProxy running on another pc and working? Last time I tried the console just got spammed with SSL errors?
  13. If desired I can try the exact same thing on a real machine with the same steps
  14. Thank you I will follow this guide hopefully to success
  15. No, MU keeps asking about ActiveX then doesn't give me any notification about it. Windows Update is working flawlessly finding 251 updates!
  16. Success! I have successfully replaced the file and now the Proxy is being spammed with post requests to the correct server, this is great news I hope.
  17. So! I have done my own investigation and it seems the wuaueng file got replaced, its trying to connect to the old server as shown in the ProxHTTPSProxy window. Mitigation should be easy as just replacing it with the patched version, BUT how would I go by doing this? I don't know how to replace the file as it is in use.
  18. Yes, I am facing a new error as shown in my previous screenshot i just posted
  19. Interesting! After I installed the update again after POSReady I am getting a new error code.
  20. Ah, the instructions in the ZIP file tell you to run the REG files **AFTER** the Install.cmd
  21. Windows XP Professional SP3 on VMware, I install 7-zip first, then Java, then .NET 4.0, then Windows Update Agent 7.6, Internet Explorer 8 is then installed (restarted after this), I then run the Restore install.cmd which successfully installs the 4 patches and the root certificates, it also successfully patches wuaueng.dll with SFC coming up saying unrecognised file (Cancel button is pressed so warning is ignored, SFC does not replace the patch) (restarted after this), POSReady.reg and TLS 1.2.reg is ran (restarted after this), then I run ProxHTTPS Cert Install and verify the certificate is installed, I replace the config with the one you provided and then run ProxHTTPSProxy_PSwitch, I then go into Internet Options and enable the TLS options in Advanced, then I add the 3 sites to the trusted sites and set them to high, I then open Windows Update and when the Security warning prompt comes up I press no and Windows Update opens showing the Keep your computer up to date screen, I press express and boom [Error number: 0x80072F78] Sorry for the paragraph just the best way to explain my exact process EDIT: I was writing the paragraph as I was completing them to make sure everything is correct
  22. I did everything exactly correct, have tried on 3 different installs with the same error everytime
