  1. Well, at least you have the option of not installing the adware. Whenever you go through the installer, note that it has the toolbar automatically checked. Just uncheck it and no worries.
  2. This information might come in handy- ripken is right. It is not an OS problem or a weird driver problem. It is indeed because of the dual core processor. I almost threw my box out the window until I came upon this thread. This has multiple fixes for your dual core gaming woes. I am certain that these fixes work in Windows XP x32, however, I have just installed x64, and am having problems after trying the methods out. Good luck to anyone having this problem.
  3. Thanks. Apparently I didn't search hard enough
  4. I did a search for this, but didn't see anything that was relevant. I am wondering if it is possible to have multiple default selections to choose from. For example, I would be able to click "PC 1 default" on the left side or something equivalent, and it would select all of the applications that I had set default for that. But, if I clicked on "PC 2 default", it would automatically select another set of applications to install. If this is possible, please explain in semi-lamens terms; I just understand the basics of how the config works in javascript. Thanks
  5. Yeah, I ran setup.exe -r to get the setup.iss file. The problem with the installation is that it doesn't ask me for a serial number while installing. It only asks me for the serial number when I launch the actual program once it's installed.
  6. I have been working on my unattended DVD, and I have successfully installed Macromedia Studio MX 2004. I'm happy that it installs, but I cannot find any way to insert my serial number into the install, so I don't have to drag the box out every time I reinstall. Is there any way of doing this? (BTW, this is an installshield installer. I put the setup.iss file with my setup files and directed a log file since I am using AutoExec.)
  7. I searched all over the forums, and have yet to find anything about multi-boot dvd's with Linux included. Is there any way to do this?
