windows update completed & installed, version now:

i am currently d/l the latest insider fast ring 'update' (at 92%), curious to see what minor build label it gets.

anniversary release last week brings us to ver. 1607 build 14383.10, the actual anniversary release version. please not the build number is NOT a decimal number, it is a dotted reference that uses numerals, like an IP address, where the number to the left of the period is the major build and that to the right is the minor build number, so 10 IS bigger than 5,

just d/l & installed latest update. ver. still 14393.5

14393.3 is the RTM that will be going out to the hoi poloi, insiders get that now, as well as the post-RTM patches, which will eventually be sent out to the rest of the masses later in an update. there will likely be more insider patches before that, that will also be included.

i've been told there will likely be a 14393.5 build for insiders real soon now to fix a few bugs/performance issues in the RTM.

yes, tho i gather y'all are only on 14393 (it was a typo - my tardis is broken.)

win10 insider builds are now at 14399.

? - how's it working in this build, is it worth reinstalling for 14385? my pc updated itself to 14385 yesterday

even as i type i am downloading what settings - update lists as 'insider preview 14383'

sort of works, get a number of error messages on startup that must be ok'd or closed, it then works until the next start when you get the error windows again.

while 506 appears to work for 11082, i get a compatibility error warning message in addition to the original console window and beta warning message.
