In Win 8.1 the "blur effect radius" and "glass reflection intensity" sliders affects both on windows titles and taskbar.
But in Win 10 changing them affects only on windows titles and those parameters for taskbar remains the same. It creates inconsistency between titles look and taskbar look..
Can you say something about this? Can it be corrected?

Actually, me too. I'm stuck at the taskbar blur level. I tried to use TaskbarBlurToggle with StartIsBack and personalisation utility from winaero, but intensity slider affect only windows borders but not taskbar itself(((
The same with AeroGlassGui, blur effect radius and glass reflection intensity doesnt affect taskbar in win10.

I was looking at that result and I was thinking maybe the caption button tops could be cut down 1 pixel and not interfere with that light border. I haven't the time tonight but I'll look at it tomorrow. Would you think that would be a visual improvement?
It sounds promising, NoelC! This atlas is beatufiul already but this trick can make it even better!
Would it be too cocky to ask you to take a look at atlas that i use with my win10 system, in order to make it look more flat-like(if it's possible of course)?0 -
I've made some tweaks to my Atlas theme and since everything seems to look and function like I want, I thought why not to share it so you can try it out if you like!
Layout file is also attached in the zip, because I made some modifications to the button margins and messed with the image positions a bit.

EDIT:
I'm glad you people like it, so many downloads!
Uploaded another update to make the button symbols appear more shaded and tweaked all the button symbols once for all. So nothing big really, but I felt that I had to adjust those symbols because they look better this way. Maybe I'll tweak the windows shadows in the future...
Kankipappa, great theme, thanks!!
Can you make it look more flat? Is it achievable by editing layout file that come with the theme(in this case can you give some hints about parameters in this file that need to be changed)?

bigmuscle, first of all thanks for the great software!
Can you say something about windows preview borders(Aero Peek in Win 7) in Win10? There are transparent(with blur) in Win 8.1, but non transparent at all in Win10..
Or this is not related to aeroglass?
I use Classic Shell or StartIsBack++ for taskbar blur effect by the way.
P.S. This is an illustration of the situation i am talking about in my Win 8.1 system:
http://postimg.org/image/f10jbcgbl/
..And in my Win 10 system they are just solid colors..

NoelC, what beer do you like to drink?!)
I must end up with sending you some beer in order to thank you for you work!!
Here is the result, it looks ideal for me:
http://postimg.org/image/9v35zgr7d/
P.S. Can you say, is it possible to make this atlases usefull on Windows 10 somehow?

NoelC, here is the the result:
http://postimg.org/image/anjajdcc3/
You see, i want flat theme with white border around windows. It seems like after adding border, windows buttons(minimize...close) lost flatness and become more 3d-like(like in windows 7).
Maby i want a strange thing though..

ahmedsalahais, thanks anyway!)
As for myself, i tried to use StartIsBack but got just transparent taskbar without blur..Maybe missed some option.
In turn, TaskbarBlurToggle did not worked in my system at all..
The only solution for me is Classic Shell but type of taskbar blur in Win10 is different from that in Win8.1..

dhjohns, can you please post a bigger picture? Its hard to see anything on this screenshot..

-Tex-, you can use Classic Shell ot StartIsBack for blur in taskbar. Some peoples also use Taskbar blur toogle but this tool do not work for me unfortunately..

I loaded that (win8rtm_mediumglow.png) up with the win8cp.png.layout (just changed the name) which I had customized. It works great! Now I have something to work with to get my max/min/close buttons customized to change colors!
Can you post a layout file and show some screenshots?
OK, got the files. I'll take a look inside them when I can find a little time - hopefully soon.

Thanks NoelC!

NoelC, let me show you what i mean if you would like to give some attention to this:
here is the screen with win8cp theme which have thin white border around window:
http://postimg.org/image/cc0y9ae8h/full/
and here is screen with win8rtm theme which doesnt have this border(by the way, you already helped me with glow in this theme if you remember):
http://postimg.org/image/cu4ltsxjp/full/
Is it possible to add win8cp-like white border to win8 rtm theme atlas? Could you help me with this once more?

ahmedsalahais, thanks for yours atlas theme! Could you please show a few more screenshots with other windows?
I mean, on you screenshot this atlas looks flat but when i use it - result is not so flat at all..but great atlas anyway!
Can you please also tell me what tool did you use for increasing size of icons in taskbar?

NoelC, can you tell is it possible to make win8rtm atlas theme for windows 8.1 have white window border like win8cp theme has?
Thanks!

I've tested it in a Win 8.1 VM; it appears to work fine.
Already saw a glitch with 1.4 when getting ready to log into my Win 8.1 workstation. When the lock screen slides up, it ends up all broken up. This was after logging off only. I'm going to reboot the whole system just to be sure it's not a transient issue.
Edit: It does it after bootup as well.
The logon prompt background seems to jump in reducing stages of transparency as I type, as does the blue screen between logon and the actual desktop. But all the problems seem to be limited to the logon process. Everything on the desktop seems to be working okay. I can live with this.
Note that I am using the March 8 UxThemeSignatureBypass DLLs.

Hello to everyone! First of all I would like to say thank you bigmuscle for such a great product!
But there is a little issue with it when i use it with a win8rp theme(http://www.glass8.eu/themes/win8rp.png) which is displayed on the screenshot.
This artefact is only observed in "Mobility Center" window. With win8cp and win8rtm themes its all looks good! Does anyone also have this issue?

Thank you NoelC! I am very gratefull for your help!
It looks great now! But could i ask you to reduce glow level a little bit if its not difficult? On dark titles contrast is even too high now..
Thanks again!

Hello to everyone! I would like to ask someone to help me with default win8 6.2.9200 theme with glow around windows titles(http://www.glass8.eu/themes/win8rtm_glow.png).
Glow effect around windows titles in this theme is not so strong as in win8cp and win8rp themes.
Could someone increase the level of glow around windows titles in this theme to the level in win8cp or win8rp themes?
Thanks in advance!
