  1. I couldn't get it to work at all... if you come up with something please feel free to post your fix here
  2. Think i may have found my problem *slaps self* REG ADD %KEY%\034 /VE /D "Nero Burning ROM 6" /f REG ADD %KEY%\034 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Software\Nero_Burning_ROM\Nero6603.exe /S" /f REG ADD %KEY%\034 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Software\Nero_Burning_ROM\NVE30114.exe /S" /f think it may work after i change one of them there 1's for a 2
  3. Hi, Just having a problem with using sfx files using the overwrite=1 command, i have an unnatended install with both Nero Reloaded and NeroVision, when i install each one individually it seems to work 100% but when it is installed consecutively on install one seems to overwrite the other (no evidence of the other on the disk at all). Could this be related to the overwrite clearing out the path that the first one was installed to? would inserting a change to: /path=<path to install program to> make any difference to this? and if this is so, would i be able to make appropriate changes to $DOCS to create shortcuts myself in All Users so the ones that are being overwritten can be created in a different location? what would be even better would be a method to combine the installation of both of these files so that this doesn't happen! anyone got any ideas? Thanks
  4. Hi, Suffering from an interesting problem... it is probablt obvious to all of you but it is bugging the hell out of me! i have silent install set for both Nero 6.6.03 and NeroVision 30114 installers, followed directions which worked great, except for the installation of both on an unattended disk... i end up with one or the other due to the Overwrite=1, anyone got any ideas how i can get them bot installed without one overwriting the other? thanks!
  5. First, thanks for a great piece of software... does the job beautifully! just thought i would make a report that i am seeing the same issue as toe_cutter, when i save, reopen make adjustments and save again i get double %PP% entires and obviously more if i do it again.. just a minor point but just trying to let you know! Thanks again
  6. Okay, got interrupted by sleep again i am going to try the one i said earlier and if this doesn't work i will go through both registries and see where the differences are between activated and none activated and make appropriate changes where necessary... will post outcome
  7. Hi! Just had a couple of attempts at getting this working... it all seems to go well apart from the actual registering still... I included the registry setting as gueded and exported the one from my current registry but only the initial line "ID" was filled in! what i am going to try now to counteract this is to place the registry location before every ID for example: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smart Projects\IsoBuster] "ID"="BLAH" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smart Projects\IsoBuster] "ID1"="BLAH" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smart Projects\IsoBuster] "ID2"="BLAH" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smart Projects\IsoBuster] "ID3"="BLAH" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smart Projects\IsoBuster] "ID4"="BLAH" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smart Projects\IsoBuster] "ID5"="BLAH" [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smart Projects\IsoBuster] "ID6"="BLAH" hopefully this will get the message across! will let you know
  8. as stated before, all switches were working, all i required was some information on editing the registry for pre registration, i couldn't find that. Thanks
  9. That's Awesome! Thanks very much for that info.. will go integrate it now.... would have got back to you earlier but had to get some sleep at some point thanks again
  10. Evenin' all! Thanks to all the great advice on these forums i am well on my way to having an unattended DVD with all the apps i want on it! the next stage that i want to go is the preregistration of IsoBuster on the install to tidy away the little user/serial pop up that comes up for a split second on my install. I have had a browse through and a search and whereas there are plenty of info for the switches i couldn't find anything for this part of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  11. Just onto this one more time, i have a soundblaster live 5.1 in this machine, SP2 is installed and i went to the creative website and had a go of their autoupdater software Here Unfortunately this HAS to be done in IE (boo) and i was given the message that my drivers were fully up to date! guess SP2 has now ruled out the need to silently install soundblaster 5.1 drivers sweet
  12. Okay, I will take another look at it and tell you what comes up
  13. Hi, Tried using that method, it works great with my photoshop install but still getting the 2 pop ups with Illustrator, i have noticed that the abcpy.ini file with illustrator has a lot less information in it, is it possible that copying all the information across would do the trick?
  14. Hi, After taking a long time searching through any posts i could find on getting this to silently install i am still having a bit of a problem... Everything seems to be running along nicely, there is nothing for me to do with the setup apart from there are 2 pop ups that are still getting through... one that informs me that if i would like to avoid rebooting then i should shut down any adobe products that comes up at the beginning and the second just about at the end where i am told something about downloading quicktime. Really want rid of these Anyone got any ideas?
