  1. Well, that doesn't solve the issue. As I've said, the program is weird. It started working correctly by itself and stopped the same way. All sync options are ON, tile is dynamic. etc. I just want to give notifications when the mail arrives. Maybe it's worth re-installing it ... never thought of that before.
  2. Sorry. Didn't think that this thread was created at all. Isn't it better be in Software Hangouts?
  3. RAR5 compression is great and I regret that it's not that popular (yet). So far not that many users actually know about RAR5 let alone its benefits. And, unfortunately, there are so little tools that can actually unpack RAR5 files - WinRar itself and B1 Free Archiver (at least that's what I've found).
  4. Second LibreOffice. Good thing. But I generally work with Google Docs cause I don't require heavy formating.
  5. I've got my external hard drive (which I use for back-uping some ISO files) formatted into NTFS and a flash drive in FAT32 because I usually have to put it into Macs. My friend has a hard drive partitioned - half in NTFS and half in FAT - pretty handy.
  6. Hi! I've got a little issue regarding Microsoft mail client for Windows 8 (you know, the standard Metro app - white envelop on the blue tile). I've trued everything, but I can't make its notifications pop up correctly each time I receive new mail. Don't know how, but for some reason it started giving me notifications about new mail and I liked it cause I hate checking my inbox every now and then when waiting for a mail. And just as it appeared, the notifications stopped popping up on desktop. Even though in all the settings I've enabled notifications, they still doesn't show up! So how can I enable them? A nice step-by-step manual would be great
  7. Frankly, I got tired of shutting down my laptop through charms button. It's much better to create a shutdown command shortcut and leave it in some corner of the desktop.
