i dont know if any1 has ever tried NSIS. Its a installer made by nullsoft and is free. i made my whole silent install with it. check it out. I have included my setup.nsi file. Comments / suggestions welcome _Setup.rar

How do we get Total Copy to silent install? i tried a few methods but couldnt come right. anyone got this right so far?

is there any way one can automatically fill in the setting for windows update server? you can manually do it in group policy editor but i want mine to be setup when i install windows so i dont have to change it each time i install. If you not sure what im talking about then look @ "Computer Configuration\Adminitrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update" in gpedit.msc

i noticed that on my one PC when i ran the .exe with the /s switch it installed silent but on another PC it asked for language. i also realised that on the 1st PC (the 1 that didnt ask for lang) i only had the default language (UK English) installed (in language bar) and the second PC i had the default and another (SA English) So maybe that was causing it to ask what language to install. dunno if this has happened with any1 else. but I just use the msi to silent install now with the /qn switch

use a lowercase s eg: mm_fl_sw_installer.exe /s just worked fine for me. it just asked me to close my browsers but other than that it was silent.

hey all Any1 got Photoshop Album 2 to install silently? I've tried editing the Abcpy.ini but cant seem to get the serial to fill itself in. I've looked at other Abcpy.ini files from other Adobe products (Acrobat, photoshop 7 and 8) but cant seem to get it to work. any ideas out there?

I got the new version of spy sweeper and when u install it u need to provide a serial. any1 know how to specify during install and make it silent??

does anyone know how to include the latest updates with AVG so that when i install i dont have to do an update with it. (yes i recreate my DVD weekly so i want to be able to update it)

I have an extrernal hdd connecting via a USB2 interface. has anyone got it to work on something like this before?
