Lenova u310 not making any sounds, or does so temporarily, then no more. Need some basic troubleshooting steps for audio. Device seems fine. Yes, volume is maxed. And unmuted.

What are some basic stuff troubleshooting steps? Also need a good audio-specific site to ask questions like these.

For a Lenova u310, I need to know what are the key basic tests to run on it to see if there's anything wrong with it. Got it from someone. Appears to be a mistake.

1) worksheet A sheet1 has a number in cell a1 on sheet2, you want to reference the a1 cell in sheet1. you want to do this in sheet2 on cell a1. you want "100-{sheet1a1}" 2) worksheet B on sheet100, you want to count how many cells has something in it from cell a2 to a200 cell can be empty can you do this with text in cells? or numbers? or a mix? you want to know how to do numbers though. ~ end ~ sorry don't know what to google, don't use this function in excel much.. googling is very messy, confusing, and scattered. please explain clearly. please do not use excel terms. won't understand. excel 2013 ~ extra ~ an excel cheatsheet for this would be helpful since i'll forget pretty soon from not using that function or whatever much. quality > speed good links are good (sharing is caring) *** ~ 1) Basic Referencing Cell From Another Sheet & 2) Counting Instances Of Anything ~ ***

i cancelled the disk check at stage 4 out of 5 because it was taking too long, and likely did the same once before 0 bad files though

yes did reboots "old is the hard drive" -- same with the laptop, nothing wrong with it it says the disk diagnostic can only be scheduled, and i did that once before. i think either it just never ran or it couldn't fix any problems if any office has always been fine it's ok, forget it, i give up i give up

after the dll was replaced with the extracted one, the scan still says the same thing, that it's missing and corrupted.. now what?

im the only user of the computer and it says system32 needs permission so i try to give permission when logged in as 'admin' and it says 'access is denied' when i try to give permission..... now what? it won't let me replace the .dll without permission

great link! extracted it, so where do you put it? replace it in the system folder? "dir msvfw32.dll /s" -- found it but there's only 1 and isn't that the 'corrupted' version repairing everything would likely fix it and the sp1 problem -- but i don't keep any discs at all so i can't burn the iso

did the scan thing, and then checked the log it gave for "msvfw" found these: "Cannot repair member file" "Type neutral, TypeName neutral, PublicKey neutral in the store, file is missing" "Could not reproject corrupted file" "source file in store is also corrupted" now what?? :/

googling told me that msvfw32.dll could be anything (i didn't see anything helpful when googling within a year so i google all years), and some sites say redownloading is a bad idea. if i should, what's the safest source and where do you put the file? advise please? anyone familiar and knowledgeable with msvfw32.dll? win 7 64 bit

it's been solved..... the solution from easiest to hardest are: vlookup www.asap-utilities.com/download-asap-utilities-free.php?file=1 (doesn't work for excel 2013 64 bit though :/ ms access sorry i could not explain it better.... thank you..

it's just data from A-C1 : A-C1000 the same as the sheet you want to merge with only difference is A2:A1000 would have similar ids/labels so the id would need to match upon merge and not be duplicated the first post describes what the problem is though. it never mentions anything about dynamic and all these other things i don't know what you mean by 'report' sheet because this is for making a map but making a map has nothing to do with the problem, just letting you know was all

sadly i need to request for aid again as i realised far too late that 'consolidate, from what i understand, only does numerical data... doesn't need to be dynamic (changes base on source data) advise please?

THANKS SO MUCH!! i found what i needed -- i needed to know what the word 'consolidate' in excel meant. this is by labels, so 'top row' and left column' just curious, would vlookup be easier for this? or would be the same? this is for making a map!

to make it simplier -- how do you make a muti-line chart?

Goal: produce a line graph with these conditions * multiple lines (series) of K ** going across the graph using X data (horizontal axis) *** by Y (vertical axis) i don't know what to look for. the information out there is a mess, and it's hard to separate the garbage from the quality, so i really really prefer a link to a guide/article/video. if you could link that, it would be great there are many ways to do this, but is the best way? excel 2010, win
