  1. Windows Update Error

    I have XP SP2 and IE6. When I start Windows Update, I get a blank screen and a message that the webpage canot be displayed properly with the following details: Line: 72 Char: 3 Error: Automation server can't create object Code:0 URL: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ This started happening around the time when I removed several entries from the registry (Spybot reported them as DSO Exploit, erased them and found them again after reboot; later I read on some webpage that they were legit). This is not something urgent. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, sluci
