I`m currently having problems with the DriverPack TV. I integrated it, installed on a friend`s computer. He has a MuchTV Fusion WDM tvtuner card, and my unattended Windows with the DriverPack TV addon integrated installs the Kworld TV878 driver instead of the correct, MuchTV one.

Post your winnt.sif file from i386 directory.

Make sure you have a patched uxtheme.dll so your Windows can support unsigned themes. You may patch it with nLite.

Roguespear, I tried remaking my Unattended CD, keeping NetBIOS with nLite. Now, other strange thing happens. When someone tries to access my PC through the network, Windows displays the searching flashlight and doesn`t do anything. May this happen because of a registry tweak that I apply ? Any ideas ? Here is my nlite session.ini file and the regfile that I apply at T-12. Last_Session.ini Tweak.reg

Try defragmenting your drives. It worked for me.

OK. Reinstalled Windows. Tested again without removing NetBIOS over TCP/IP service. Now other PC`s on my network are able to ping me, and I am able to ping them, but still file sharing doesn`t work, only between me and those computers that use my unattended XP install. And NetBIOS is removed with nLite on both PC`s. Any idea ?

Hm..I remove NetBIOS with nLite, and additionaly remove NetBIOS helper for TCP/IP service with a cleanup file in RunOnceEx. Do you suggest that not removing that service with the cleanup file may solve my network problem ?

I removed this with nlite. But why would this have any effect on file sharing ? All the machines on my network use XP, so I guess I don`t need it. Or do I ?

File and print sharing are Enabled on both PC`s .. Computer Browser is running, guest account in enabled and on, is allowed in gpedit.msc and we use same workgroup .. netbios is OFF. removed with nlite. not needed. And the problem persists ..

Guest account is ENABLED on my PC. And NetBIOS is removed with nLite on my PC, but enabled on others` computers. But this is not the problem. I used to remove netbios with nlite every time and had no problems. Which method are you talking about ? And one more thing: I gave a friend of mine my Unattended XP installation. And I can "see" him on the LAN and he can see me. But it`s like we`re isolated from the rest, others cannot see us. .. strange. Do you have an explanation for these ? PS: Thanx for the replies.

My guest account is Active and it`s not present in "Deny access to this computer from the network" in Group Policy Editor. And it`s not the problem that it asks password, when someone tries to access it it says "Path Not Found". But I CAN access other people computers in my LAN. Does anybody know why this happens ? Please help !

Installed my unattended installation of XP SP2 and I have this problem: I can see others on my LAN and I`m able to use network resources, but others cannot see me at all on the network, they can`t even ping me. Is there any setting that causes this ? I do have file and print sharing on, computer browser, server and workstation services running. Pleeeze help ! It`s very important for me.
