Hello. I'm trying to install Windows 7. I have Windows Vista installed. When I install I formatted C and Installed on it. Yet when I boot I got the menu to chose between Windows 7 and Vista. How can make sure next time I install nothing is left from the previous OS? Thanks.

Well, I had the release BIOS and usually they improve the compatibility and performance. I still find it unusual. I will update it again before the next time I don a clean install to the computer. You really assisted me! Thank You!

Anyone has any recommendation where can I get A bootable CD where I can put the BIOS files? Thanks. UPDATE: Reverted back to the Original BIOS. All working again! Thank you all!

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_res...mit=Go!#BIO This is what I've downloaded. It's the right one. Just don't get it. If it's something in the BIOS version how come I'm the first to encounter this.

I see... But reinstalling will solve it right? Cause I get the Installation CD up and running. What's strange about it is that I'm the only one with that kind of problem as it's seems.

How come it happened? What caused it? I have Vista Disc, all I want it to keep all the data in the private folders and the desktop. Can't I make it reinstall the stuff regarding the AHCI drivers? I don't see why Intel would make it work that way.

It's Intel G35EC Mainboard. It happened just after I updated the BIOS. I tried any possible value in the SATA options. The system was installed in AHCI mode. Can I make vista work this out without the need to reinstall it. Maybe editing drivers, files etc? Thanks.

I can't get into Windows. Not even in the Safe Mode. As I described, I get the BSOD during Start Up. When I tried Safe Mode it restarts when it loads crcdisk.sys. Thanks.

Hello. I've just installed Vista SP2. Rebooted and everything went fine. I also updated my mainboard BIOS (Intel G35EC) to its latest version. On the next reboot I got BSOD and the system restarted. I tried "Safe Mode". It loads the files then gets to the file: crcdisk.sys hangs for few seconds and restart. I tried to change the settings for the SATA controller for IDE emulation yet with no success. What could it be? How may fix it? Thanks.

Hello. I found the Trendline function in Charts very useful. My question is: Are there equivalent functions? What I mean, I know about "Trend" and "Linset" functions. Yet in Trendline there are Polynomial Approximations, Exponential Approximations etc... Which I couldn't find anywhere. Are they available? How can I create the dataset according to Excel approximation (I want cells with the data instead of the chart)? Are there anymore Approxiamtions / Interpolations in Excel (Splines, Least Squares, etc..)? I'm using Office 2007. Thanks.

How to splistream Office 2007 SP2 into Office 2007 w/o SP1?
Drazick replied to ImpetuousRacer's topic in Microsoft Office
I think the update is cumulative. Which means all you need to do is to extract SP2 into the updates folder. -
Hello. I'm looking for a simple free PDF creator. The task I want to accomplish is creating a pdf out of few TIFF files I scanned. Thanks.

Hello. I have a laptop made by ACER. It has one HD which is didvided into 3 partitions: 1. The Backup OEM. 2. The OS (Vista Home Basic). 3. Regular NTFS partition. Using Diskpart I managed to delete the OEM partition. Now my Partitions are as described here: What I wanna do is extend C with the unallocated space. I tried using Diskpart as the following: As you can see from some reason I just can't extend it. Any idea? Thanks.

The perfect would be able just to do the following: 1. Integrate SP3. 2. Integrate IE7. 3. Integrate WMP11. That's it :-).

Ok. Well, I think it was an over heat problem. I opened up the enclosure and gave the cpu the feeling of a free air. Suddenly it worked and the computer didn't get turned off. Does it make any sense?

Hello. I guess I wasn't clear enough. I have Acer OEM version which includes drivers and other preinstalled applications. I want to install Windows XP again. A clean install, just XP SP2 Home edition. What I was asking is, where can I get Windows XP which fits my license (OEM Home Edition)? So I could use it to reinstall my system without having to have all Acer's preinstalled software. Since I do have a license I thought maybe there is a place I get it legally. Thanks for helping. The point is one: I want a clean and slim install of XP using my current OEM license.
