    I would try a few things.. Disable all sound devices in the device manager. Download latest driver from Lexmark. Does the printer have a setup.exe on the cd. possibly try that. If thats whats failing try the add printer wizard. Then direct it to the .inf Final thing bit excessive but worth a try. Remove all sound componets from device manager. When prompted to reinstall on restart. Skip. Add printer. Hope these ideas work. ~Ike~ RI
