check the machine temp's also! u can probably see these in your bios. if it's not that.. most probably fault of a couple of softwares... suggest format and reisntall of os.. easily fixes the problem.. if u don't wanna do that.. defrag, anti-spyware, antivirus, scandisk/chkdsk, registry cleaner... lots of softwares to do all that... get working mate.

i liked avg, even the free version, worked best with 98se. been using it for over 3 years now. kav was good, but slightly heavier then avg.

pentium 4 3.0 upped to 3.45GHz... removed themes so that it runs faster! lol.. not that i use all that speed.. sometime's put em back on.. but u can actually feel the difference! just looks nice and simple too. don't like cluttering!
