Doom guides (divx/vcd/svcd) http://www.doom9.org For best quality try dvd2svcd (only for making svcd): http://212.88.77.140/ I tried this program and i think it's the best. If you want perfect video and audio, this is it. Audio is mpeg2 with dolby surround. Video, variable bitrate (multipass)= great quality in actionscenes. There is a subtitle option and also automated process for making vcd images (cue/bin) ready to burn in for example CDRwin. You must have a fullversion (SP..not liteversion) of a program called Cinema Craft Encoder v. 2.50 (not an earlier or later edition). And it's not included (cost: approx 4000 dollar). This version 2.50 is outdated but you can find demoversions. A large blue logo (watermark) is displayed on the final encoded mpeg. No logo displays in fullversion.
