  2. Welcome to the forums; enjoy communicating!
  3. Yes! The batch searches the current directory for all directories named MS06-<any numbers> or MS07-<any numbers>. Any XP.bat file found in any matching directory is called. I created a 'test setup' in order to verify that the batch works!
  4. A quick example: FOR /F "DELIMS=" %%? IN ('DIR/B/AD^|FINDSTR/I MS0[67]-[0-9]*') DO ( IF EXIST %%?\XP.BAT CALL %%?\XP.BAT)

  7. Welcome to the forums, it's a friendly place, no sharks here!
  8. You really shouldn't be considering a script for User Profile Deployment, there are much simpler, (more standard), ways of doing this. Click on this link and read the content, it may help you.
  9. This may be stating the obvious, but WMP11 is not part of Windows XP so don't include /integrate it in the first place.

  16. I have allowed this conversation to continue only as part of the building of the structure and ideas for the project. However no coding, which can be utilized by others will be allowed and posts will be monitored in order to stay 'safe'.
  17. Welcome to MSFN Susan, I'm sure that you'll improve your knowledge in both areas whilst a member here.
  18. Welcome to the MSFN Forums. I'm English and in my country most of the populations' English isn't very good either!

    hi all

Welcome to the learning zone; MSFN
  21. You do not copy executables to the 'quick launch' directory; you create shortcuts to executables there! Also you'd be better off using '%AppData%' instead of '%UserProfile%\Application Data'
  22. The link you have been given already has a further link to a code snippet section. Once you've worked out what you need to do, create a list of steps you need in order to get there, utilize the snippets of code you need from that link then fill in the gaps, possibly posting any questions then. This forum is not really set up to cater for creating tutorials on how to create individual, Firefox extensions.
  23. @ wing_bbs I have merged some of your multiple posts and removed three others in this thread alone. Please learn some posting etiquette.
  24. Welcome to The MSFN. Which is better? a genuine geek or an ungenuine one!
  25. Welcome to MSFN. The key to getting helpful responses is in the creation and structure of the question, if you supply your side of it, I'm sure that you'll not be disappointed.
