Thanks for the information weed. Now I can sleep at nights. As for you other too, try taking a forum search for CCAPP. Thanks And then try doing a google search for CCAPP. Thanks Like half a million organizations around the world call themselves, CCAPP!

Hey guys. I noticed I have a process running called "CCAPP". When shutting down my PC it also halt's when it has to shutdown the CCAPP. Do you know what this CCAPP is? I tried searching for both Virus and Ad-Spy-Ware, and neither found anything. Thanks in advance.

From what I've seen so far, the graphics are killing! I had the great honor of trying an early BETA of it, and the atmosphere is just SPOOKY! The sounds and everything in the game is so "realistic" you do feel like you're actually there!

Hey Tomcat. Thanks for the advice, but I already did these things, you can also feel that it ain't a "game-settings" related problem. It feels like Directdraw/Direct3D/whatever is f***ing it up somehow :x And my mouse is a Microsoft Intelli Explorer 4.0 Optical.

oke, so I went through my stack of hardware and found another graphics card. It's an ASUS GeForce FX 5200 128 MB DDR, and dont ask me why I did'nt use this from the start! However, the problem seems solved or atleast much much out-bettered. But the mouse still aint floating like I want it too. I remember back in days, when Counterstrike beta's very brand new, I used to have the same problem, and some gamerfriend of mine would change some settings with my videocard to make it work. That was a Riva TNT2.

It definately sounds like a RAM problem. If it's possible for you, then try changing the RAM.

try uninstalling Ati Cataclyst 4.7 again to see if this is really what is causing the problem?

Well, I've tried serveral games. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, John Deere American Farmer, Half-Life, just to mention some. My current pc specs are: Intel Pentium 4 2800 Mhz (800 Mhz fsb, 1 MB L2 Cache) Asus P4P800-SE Motherboard Samsung PC3200 DDR (Dual Channel) Soltek GeForce 4 MX 440 64MB Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 4.0 (With tilt wheel) thats the relevant specs I guess.. My in-game settings are only 800x600, should be no problem for this card, with detail level at a minimum?!

you saying you get a blue screen? Blue screen like in BSOD, or other blue screen? (Relevant info). "The client dies" meaning the whole PC crashes, or the mstsc client shuts down?

Hey guys. I'm not much of a gamer, so I dont really know how to fix any game-related problems I've just installed a new game on my pc. And in the menus and such, my mouse works fine (in windows too). But as soon as I start the game my mouse starts "lagging", like it's ½ a second behind or something like that. I tried installing serveral different titles now, and the problems persists in all of them. Someone please help me Thanks in advance Henrik Hansen Denmark

Thanks for the advice Datalore. Though I have installed the new drivers, and checked my cables But I think I found out what has been causing the problem, at least it is fixed now. Hardware Acceleration was setup to Full Acceleration, and it had to be taken down to Basic Acceleration, doing this fixed the problem. Thanks for the help anyway guys.

Hey guys I'm having serious trouble here, so I hope someone can help me. I just installed at coupple of games the other day, I'm usually not much of a gamer, but what the heck, sometimes it cool to get a little distance Anyway, I installed TOCA Race Driver and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. But when I'm playing it sometimes gets REALLY noisy! I have no clue what is causing it but it sure does sound pretty bad. I dont even know how to describe this sound it's making, but I guess I'm gonna try to anyway. The sound is terrible, it's very loud, and it basicly sounds like your computer is d e a d. However, the sound is not constant, it just comes someting like out of the blue! My specs are : Albatros 128 MB GeForce 4 AGP x8 Creative SoundBlaster Live! .. Any thing else you should know? Please help help

Just a little update.. I have located the error.. It seems that Nvidia's drivers are incompitable with windows 2003 and my VGA-card. My card is a GeForce 2 MX, and when using both a WHQL certified driver, and the latest drivers, it wouldnt work. If you have heard of anyone having the same kind of problem, or can tell me how to fix it, I would greatly appreciate your support of this topic. Thanks.
-
Yeah, I did that.. Didnt help though :-/ I think it might be the display driver, but still dont know, I will try installing standard microsoft driver now.. But please keep replying with all your good ideas of what might cause my problem, thanks.

I recently installed windows 2003, at our company. I have one big problem with the server machine, after win2k3 had been running fine for over a week, it started "stalling" when i eg. right-clicked on the desktop, and moved the mouse over the field "New".. It freezes totally whenever I move the mouse over a such field, where something is to "slide" out.. Any suggestions how I can fix this ? Thanks in advance, Henrik H.
