hi all how to add my fav pictures to user acoount pictures folder in unattended installation. it is located at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures. which file in i386 i have to modify,and how to make installation to use particualy that picture at my logon screen.

iam working on my unattended setup of xp.in this i want to eliminate one option and that is autologon with admin account.can i creat my own named accounts with this tool. imean during unattended installation at last step,it shld prompt me a screen to add users(like in normal windows).is it possible with this tool.if yes pla let me know how to do it thanks

try both lite and normal versions from site.itested lite version with cmdlines.txt.but no use(with out changing winnt.sif(imean default settings))

there should be a way or trick. that we can get only user adding screen with out effecting remaining things

but iam replacing some stuff like wallpaper,fonts,ntoskrnl.exe with $oem/$$ folders in to my windows and system32 folders.and iam using wpi to run my appz(placed inside $oem/$1/install...) and one more thing in some winnt.sif's UnattendSwitch,OemPreinstall--yes and no r with " " marks.is it makes any difference

may be.but it is not at all related to welcome screen. otherwise we have to consult a registry expert.if it is possible with registry editing.if kept OemPreinstall=no. $oem folder won't work.which is a very imp step in unattended cd

i think we all must have a look at this http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/reference.htm. in this he said OemPreinstall and OemSkipWelcome r interrelated. have a look

@MHz i just tested my iso with settings u mentioned.have a look at me winnt.sif http://m.domaindlx.com/fever16/WINNT.SIF but still its not working(add users window).setup is showing welcome screen before installation.imean at 39 min stage and when i click next setup starting. and one more thing is iam using xp home sp2 slipstreamed.

nice lolly.but they r like mobile ring tones.try to make a sound file with bass\tribble.when u hear windows xp default startup sound it fells like opening.so better luck next time

these things.what i want to say is first test ur setup in simple manner imean cmdlines.txt and a regtweak file.if it works then ur remaining settings r ok.then add other user accouts etc.if setup fail in first step only then check ur oem,winnt.... stuff

thanks for ur reply.but its bit confusing.i just want that only one option. a progress bar which shows my application installation. note:-i have seen this type(progress bar) some where in this forum.but forgot where it is. help me pls

overall means---insted of providing progress bar to each appz.a single progress bar which shows all appz installation activity. ok leave overall atleast progress bar to each applicaion.how to

actually i posted same topic in unattended windows but no one is answaring there.and i think this is right place to ask. i want over all progress bar of appliactions while installing.so that i can see installation is working or not.where and what i have to modify pls help

first try with one command.imean [COMMANDS] "REGEDIT /S regtweaks.reg" (working for me) if it works.then the problem may be in user accounts stff.
