Well actually my friend has activated his Dell onto a new computer that he built, with none of the origional parts

To one it is a Dell C/D, to the next, yes I can access all of the net but I get the activate box eveytime! I am on broadband (2.4 Meg) It say's that I do not have a connection, but HERE I AM!!!

Hi all, i'm running XP home on an ASROCK Mobo with an Athlon XP 2.400 CPU and 1024 RAM, and when i turned on today the fans start (5 fans) but nothing else happens, the screen will not even light up and there are no sounds coming from any of the Hard drives. i have tried it with another H/D but it is the same. nothing at all goes exept the fans, and there is no usual beep as you get at startup. oh yes i have my screen working on another computer st this moment. Any ideas?

HI everyone, Ineed help to fix ***STOP: 0x0000007B (0xFA2C3640, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) Ive tried to install XP home on my grandaughters computer (it's old and took me about 4 1/2 hrs, the C/D player was really slow) and when i tried to activate it , I couldn't. So I put her HDD in mine and Installed and activated from there. when I put it back into her Comp' I got the Bluescreen Error above. I did a CHKDSK, and a SCANDISK, but it stayed the same. Her details...MOBO..Winfast K7NCR18GM...CPU..AMD ATHLON XP 1150MHz...RAM..256Mb... Any help at all welcome.

i've tried to burn it in NERO, and it does all it should (red light etc.) but all i get at the end is a BLANK disc. before anybody asks, i have tried with "3" other BIN/CUE files also, surely they can't all be bad?

i have asked so many times how to make a playable CD/DVD from a BIN/CUE file, and i always get directed to download lots of different PROG's, (none that work, or that i understand) is there anybody at all that can really tell me in simple terms "WHAT TO DO" i have all the relevant BURNERS...XP CD PRO...NERO...EASY CD...i am beginning to wonder whether anyone has really achieved the proccess, and if so could they please tell me the "SECRET"? it's really difficult for a"NEWBE", but we all have to start, so C'mon people "HELP" (in laymans terms) please. i've looked through the forums, and could give lots of answers to the ??'s that i have recieved, but the "NEWBE" is still in the dark! think on that there are many of PLAYERS out here who like myself (it took me 2 weeks to even turn the bloody thing on) have had no training at all before owning a "COMPUTER" , again PLEASE HELP US, we'll all be gratefull, and maybe (lets hope) we can help the next NEWBE'S. thanks

the matrosa pack is in and i have the KLITE CODECS, on my CD disk i have an info file and a windows media logo showing the movie name and it's size in KBs, i have also put it on a DVD disk, it's the same. if i try to play in my stand alone then it only shows the ROOT, with nothing in. if i put it in windows media player i get a runtime error. is there another way that i can record a BIN/CUE file to disk? i am really GREEN, so if any body can explain in easy steps it would be a great help. i have XP CD burner and ROXIO EASY CD. and GSPOT can't recognise it

Hi everyone, i put an ISO file (Movie) into windows xp cd burner pro, and burnt a disk but all that i can see is an MKV file, so i went and downed the MATROSKA Pack, but i don't know what i should do next? i've tried to play the disk in varios players ...VLAN...REAL...MEDIA PLAYER, but none will play it. am i doing something wrong? any help at all appreciated
