  1. Do you have a nVidia video card or video chipset?
  2. Can anyone help me? I am trying to use the Symantec Ghost Console 8.2 in a Active Directory Domain but the rest of the network seems to be affected when the image is sent. I am trying to find some switches that I can use in the run command of the Ghost Server so the rest of the network is not affected. I would greatly appreciate any help.
  3. I need some help. I know that Windows XP can be configured to use a DOS exe file in a pif. I also know that the command.com can be used for true DOS. However, I can not find any information about how to set up a DOS bat file application to work in a DOS pif. Please, help.
  4. @Gurgelmeyer My vote would be for "Option Pack Extreme Edition" but I would also like the "Option Pack Standard Edition" for standard loads. Thanks again for all your hard work. YOU ROCK Notaustin
  5. I am sooooooo sorry if my questions bother you and you feel that be so new I am not worthy of anything. I imagine you never had to ask anyone for any help. Well that must be nice. Thanks for nothing. If you are typical of the treatment hear no wonder there are so few people logged in.
  6. Would that be the "DOSNET.INF" or the "SYSOC.INF". If it is the SYSOC.inf file, Which one should I use. The one for Home or Pro? What is a good tool to create a CAB file?
  7. I was not able to fine a template on your site. The closest I found was how to manually install the XP SP2 Post Hotfixes. Could you post a link to your template or send me a message with the template. If it is the manual installation instructions how do use the steps to make a Windows 2000 SP4 Hotfix pack? Forgive me if I offend you but I have only been working on this project for about 6 weeks and do not fully understand your steps from looking at the manuall instructions. I am not asking you to create the pack. I am just asking for the steps you used to create yours because it works so awesome.
  8. If I could get some info about how you made the pack I would be more than willing to make one for Post SP4. Did you use WinInstall?
  9. Help I am trying to create an unassisted install CD for Windows 2000 SP4. By searching the forums I learned how to slipstream the Service Pack into the install. I also learned how to integrate the IE 6, Media Player, DirectX and Java VM. I am trying to incorperate the Post SP Hotfixes into the install so I do not have to spend the next hour using windows updates. Does anyone know of any utilities like Ryan's utility that will work with Windows 2000. I have tried; Microsoft's way, XPCreate and am not able to integrate the hotfixes. I tried the LE version of WinINstall but it wont work with the hotfixes unless I use the full version. I even email'd Ryan to see if he had any ideas. He suggested I search the MSFN and I have tried everything I could find. I would appreciate any help.
  10. I am working on making a Windows XP Home Automated install cd and the Activation prompt is bugging me. Is there any way to disable the Windows XP Home Activation from the CD or network drive that the OS is installed from? Thanks in advance for any help.
  11. I followed the instructions of the link and had problems. I did find that if I put just ' /silent' as long as it was the last of the $OEM$ commands it worked fine. Thanks again for all your help.
  12. I am also trying to install DirectX9 during the install of windows but without success. I am somewhat new to hex. Could someone either give some instruction or point me in the right direction?
  13. When I tried the switch it still just said "invalid command prompt". Where should I dl the executable from? Evil_Monkey___Lightening.bmp
  14. I have created a slipstreamed Windows 2000 CD. Through searching the posts I found reference to how to integrate IE6. I used the same methods to integrate Windows Media Player 9 and Java Virtual Machine. When I try to integrate DirectX 9 I get a message about "Invalid Command Line Switch" regardless of whether I use '/install /silent' or '/Q:A /R:N'. If I go to a command prompt and '/?' to see the usable switches I still get "Invalid Command Line Switch". I am using the DirectX 9.03 Redistributable from Microsoft's site. Can anyone help me, please? Thanks notaustin
