I had a lot of problems with this as well today, Office XP SP3 installation from the web kept asking me for the original CD. I did insert it many times but still didn't work. So I did try a lot of websites and forums and all recommended to try to an msiexec procedure, but this still requires the CD. Amazingly the answer is on microsofts web page.
