I just wanted to focus on installation options using the .mst file. Sorry about the posted key, I forgot to delete them after pasting.

I used these lines for setup.cmd The unattended.mst file is made by Custom Installation Wizard under MSO2003 toolkit. Works just fine for me. Hope you can apply it. PID removed ~ Alanaoll

I tried to build up an .MST file for ACDsee7 using........... Custom Installation Wizard (a part of MSO 2003 tool kit), and it worked. I can disabled PhotoEditor, Device Ditector and others. Reading this thread helps me inserting serial too.

Actually I did lookinto the temp folder. But ACDsee didnot extract to the folder but to a subfolder. That's why I missed. I used this to get it unattended Thanks all for reading (I'm not so sure that putting the "call unlock.cmd" here would break the forum rules)

this 7.0 IS installshield, can't miss it. (I saw the Installshield Wizard).

I've just downloaded ACDsee Powerpack 7.0 (30 days trial ) and tried unattended installation. I followed the instructions for installShield with the line "setup.exe -R". The setup ran well. But I found no setup.iss file in C:\Windows like it was stated in the instructions. Any idea or other instructions from you? Thx all

I lile makecab.cmd very much , but I have 2 questions: 1) How can I put the command under context menu rather than under SendTo? 2) It seems that the makecab.cmd can cab only one folder at a time. How can I do it for several folders (surely in the same root)

Is it possible to make a .cmd file that help me to do this - Extract all files in the cab files into subfolders (the name of the subfolders should be the name of the files, respectively) Or - Create cab files from the subfolders, one cab files for each subfolders, I meant. The name of the file should be the name of the subfolders respectively. ========= Pls help

I use .cmd file to do unattended installation of several of my software. What should I do (and how) to get the command-prompt windows display only the description of what is being done. Something like rather than displaying the whole command.

It's better that you get SP1 slipstreamed into your original installer, then do the unattended installation. Doing so you will not need additional switches or commands. It works with me at least
