Everything posted by lwjohns

  1. Hopefully soon. Have been busy moving house, waiting for internet to be connected, Christmas, New Year, catching up on backlog of jobs at work ...
  2. All updates for Office, Visio and Project are included in this one update list. The list of updates for Visio and Project are just a subset of the Office list. If you install all the updates for Office, then the ones that apply to Visio and Project will be applied at the same time.
  3. Sometimes towards the end of the month, Microsoft remove the junk email filter update from their servers. The updated version is then made available on Patch Tuesday. If you try again after Patch Tuesday, then it should work - and you'll actually have the latest version.
  4. Yes, unlike office 2007 and later versions, updates for Office 2003 are language specific. The KB links for each download are included in the update list so you can open it for each download and manually download each update in the language you require. Microsoft has made it difficult to make different language update lists for 2003 as they keep each language for each update in a different folder on their servers which means you would need to change the full url, not just the filename part.
  5. That's the link to the ADK, I was actually referring to the SDK. I'm sure it will be available as a standalone download in the future just as the previous versions currently are.
  6. There's not much info about the 8.1 versions as yet. From what I can see they are only available as part of the Visual Studio 2013 RC download.
  7. The Windows 8.1 ADK installer doesn't work through a proxy that requires authentication either so had to create an update list for it too.
  8. It could take me longer than usual to update as there are over 100 office updates this month. September 2013 Office Update Release Posted 5 hours ago by The Microsoft Office Sustained Engineering Team The September 2013 Public Update release for Office is now live. There are 36 security updates (7 Bulletins), and 80 non-security updates available for download.
  9. Here are the update lists for Office 2010 SP2 Tested with the english version of Office 2010. I have now moved/added some of the updates for non-english versions to a new category called Extra Updates as well as some updates not offered by Windows Update. As the name suggests these updates are post SP2 updates. Office SP2 must be installed otherwise you may receive an error "The expected version of the product was not found on the system" The list contains the updates for all editions of Office 2010. If the edition you're using doesn't include components like Access, Outlook, Visio, Project, Infopath or Publisher, then there is no need to download or include those updates. KB2553092 is included as Windows Update still nags for installation even though it has been replaced by KB2825640 To integrate the updates into the installation media: Extract the msp files from the update using the switch /extract:<location for extracted files> Copy the extracted msp files to the Updates subfolder under setup.exe As SP2 needs to be installed before the post SP2 updates, you need to adjust the SP2 filenames so that they get applied first. e.g. rename officesuiteww-x-none.msp to 1officesuiteww-x-none.msp Also the proof-xx-xx.msp files from SP2 need to be included as well as the updated versions from the post SP2 proofing update. e.g. rename proof-en-us.msp from SP2 to 1proof-en-us.msp, then add proof-en-us.msp from the latest update. office2010-sp2-x86.ulz office2010-sp2-x64.ulz
  10. Windows8-RT-KB2836187-x86.msu is being downloaded and saved as Windows6.2-KB2836187-x86.msu.
  11. Here are updates lists for Office 2013 SP1. The service packs are language specific. The updates are language neutral. office2013-sp1-x86.ulz office2013-sp1-x64.ulz
  12. Finally got around to updating the good old Office 2003 update list. I've included the 2007/2010 compatibility pack and all its updates too as well as an Open Office Translator. office2003-sp3-x86.ulz
  13. No Office 2010 updates this month. Hopefully that means beta testing of SP2 is almost over and we should see its release shortly.
  14. Thanks for pointing that out. There should be two different links. Now fixed.
  15. Continuing on from the Language Packs I did a while ago, here are some more extras and add-ons for Windows 7. Where available, I have included either the CAB, MSU, MSI or MSP versions for easy integration or installation. So far I've included Language Packs, IE9, IE10, IE11, XP Mode, .Net Framework 4.5.2, Remote Server Tools, Java Runtime, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player and Adobe Reader 9 - 11 Now added RDP Updates win7Extras-sp1-x86.ulz win7Extras-sp1-x64.ulz
  16. After a bit more testing it is publishdate="2013/" that is causing WUD to crash when it reads the file. I assume it needs a valid date.
  17. Got that too. Looks like the x64 update file has a problem. Removing this section fixed it <update id="KB" category="0" publishdate="2013/" article="http://support.microsoft.com/kb/"> <title>Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 10 in Windows 7 SP1 x64 Edition (KB)</title> <description>Security issues have been identified that could allow an attacker to compromise a computer running Microsoft Internet Explorer and gain control over it.</description> <filename>IE10-Windows6.1-KB-x64.msu</filename> <url></url> </update> It was also saved in ANSI format and not utf-8
  18. Here are the two update files for Office 2010. It has been a while since any have been posted so thought I would keep the ball rolling. Edit: I have decided to remove the extra Project and Visio sections as it only depends upon the order of installation to whether or not they are needed mutilple times. Therefore, if you are installing Project or Visio and have integrated the updates into your Office source, then you need to install Office after Project or Visio. The installation media do require a product key (Trial Version or Full Version) to install. office2010-sp1-x86.ulz office2010-sp1-x64.ulz
  19. Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) I was unable to download the ADK through a proxy server using the "adksetup /quiet /layout <path>" command so have done up a Update List (Error - Check your Internet connection - great work Microsoft! - Wouldn't a company that needs the ADK, would also be using a proxy server these days?) . Hope there will be a full iso release to download offline in the future, however, in the meantime you can make use of this. Keep all the downloaded files in a subfolder named Installers under adksetup.exe Enjoy. Edit: 8.1 Update now includes Patches\8.100.26866 subfolders, however WUD can't make multiple subfolders so I have called it Patches_8.100.26866 instead. You will need to make the required subfolders before running adksetup otherwise it will prompt for the location of the files. Edit: Added Windows 10 version. Win80ADK.ulz Win81ADK.ulz Win10ADK.ulz
  20. Hi, I thought I would complete the rest of the Language Packs for Windows 7 SP1 - have changed the product name and service pack name to get the status colour to work correctly - also corrected the filename for Windows6.1-KB2483139-x86-en-us.exe Win7-SP1-x86-Lang.ulz Win7-SP1-x64-Lang.ulz Feel free to include with future download lists. Cheers.
  21. Using WUD 2.50 Build 1002 When the option "Product as subfolder" is selected AND the .ul updatedlist line contains servicepack="xxx" WUD creates a subfolder containing the servicepack value and downloads the files there, however the status doesn't change to green. If you rename the subfolder name by removing the servicepack value from the name the status then changes to green. Workaround: Edit the .ul file. Replace <updatelist product="xyz" servicepack="SP1" with <updatelist product="xyz SP1" servicepack=""
