i had pretty much a fraudian Slip on the 2k3 part (was in a Skype call w/ 7 people.) and 26a (" Windows2000-KB935839-v26a-x86-ENU.exe " ) and its Services.exe i've seen teh same secnario some years back but it was with something that wasnt Compatable w/ KernelEX :/ ( i think back when UURollup was using Wildbill's Kernel over yours.) i'm not sure as before this popped up i hardly used the system so i'm entirely Unsure whats installed. if i haveto redo everything again any New updates that have comeout (UURollup / USP 5.2 etc?) that i should be using ? and what about DirectX? (More or Less looking into using WinUAE on the System)

installed just a lil ago the latest KernelEX and now i'm in a bootloop, i know i have UURollup and USP10d. not sure what else i have installed. *edit i typed and should of said "Kernal EX v26a" (when i have so many voices chatting about ina call i got a habbit of letting a few thinsg slip thru.)

well sofar i noticed Win2000 is crashing AFTER my video drivers are installed (trident 985 AGP) (it fullscreens a randomized image) i wonder if some of these issues are related to it :/ i do have a 2MB based DiamondMedia videocard as a spare

like i say there in the topic im not sure why this Pentium 2 system is unstable, (has a Trident 4MB vid ram GPU, SMC1211TX LAN Card, Happauge TV Capture card, ESS Audio Drive based soundcard, Card slot-style P II 300MHZ, 198MB Ram[1 128MB + 2x 32MB ram sticks)) but the System is as buggy as if im running 98 FE with 512mb+ Ram @_@ i've installed in order the unoffical SP found here http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/61749-98-se-sp-332/ (all misc Options first then indivually the ones that say "Install seperatly") (Including NTFS Support) Generic Mass Storage Drivers for Win 98 KernelEX 4.5.2 the board's Intel Chipset Drivers, ->the trident Video Drivers ->Sound Drivers, ->Lan Drivers, Capture Card Drivers WinTV 2000 for Capture Card, and DScaler but at this point things start getting weird, i'll have failed FS operations, system Hangs if on more than 2 days in arow, it randomly hangs durring shutdown, trying to download anything can result in a Hang, sometimes i will get a "Early PCI non-VGA Device" device installation on boot. i havent tested the ram yet, if its software relate dim not sure whats making thinsg so buggy @_@ but if its not anything i've installed then i'm going to call suspect on the ram, :/ i cant give a motherboard Model because i litterally do not see anything to hint at a make or Model # , if theres something that can get a ID from when its running please link me :/

and by "Win2k treatment im refeering to the Support this community has gone so far to keep windows 2000 Alive. (hell i keep up on the UURollup updates for my Dell Latitude X200 since i keep win2k on it and gotten Moden flash sites work ok by setting firefox plugin service priority to high.) i have an Dell Inspirion 1300 i've tried win 7 and BARF-O-Rama in Performance. (even w/ a maxed out 2GB Ram.) as of late recent Linux distrobutions dont support its Intel POS video. (videoglitches hell even most gento flavors cause it to white out and crash after 15 mins.) and Xubuntu just refuses to boot on it unles si got back to 9.04 in the end i wonder will (and hope) there will start being Unoffical SP's or something like UURollups for XP now that mainstream XP's will be killed off by Microsoft soon.

my Dell Latitude X200 finally got it working w/ Update Rollup 1 &2, UURollup v11 daily, i got latest firefox going w/ flash. and trying to watch a stream on twitch.tv, but the video is rather .. studdery. besides buying the 512MB Ram upgrad efor this laptop any tips to gettin better playback?

ok that explains why whenever i did. services would cause a reboot timer when it starts to prepare networking. v11 is beta right? whats the last stable vers of 11? and should i uninstall v10d first?

the specs of this Win2000 Laptop i've been working on is 800MHZ PIII 256MB Ram Expandable to 512MB 30GB IDEHDD is it better to just use WinFLP or a extremly cutdown nLite'd XP?

Blackcat ok correct me if im wrong but i think i've fouled something up i decided to just reformat/reinstall. i in order installed SP4 Update rollup 1 (From MS) then the "unoffical rollup 2" the UURollup v10d then Extended Kernel v23e after installing EK v23e.. its in a reboot loop. "The system process C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\SERVICES.EXE terminated unexpectedly with status code 128. The system will shut down and restart" is Extended Kernel incompatable w/ Update rollup 2 / UURollup v10d? have i just used older versions? and is v23e the latest for english users? i skimmed the readme for KDWbut i think the laptop was updated as far as it could be before it was sold and sent to me. but the only thing i Can access is recovery console. if i may ask where can i find then "Extended Kernel" ? Offtopic sorta , i mentioned im atleast trying to make a dual boot Installer Disc of Win 2k and win XP. i'm using this guide for Easy BootCD to do it but now that i got it for teh most part Stage 2 (GUI stage) Installer for 2k, it errores at the start stating that the digital signature is invalid. is there any method that still works to DualBoot an installer disc ?

Ok, i was looking up various things where some games "would" run in win2k that wouldnt normally due to API Calls not implemented in 2k that appeared first in XP. (i had chosen all avilable API's to install/update if it matters any) im now making a dualboot DVD for my Dell Latitude X200 (XP/2k) and a "Supplemental Disc" (which contains my Drivers/Updates as all i got to spare atm are RW's (money's a reall tight premium for me atm.[yes im that broke for a month everysingle cent i get goes towards food/rent] anywho...) while the Dell i have's Media Docking Station came w/ the CD-RW Drive instead of the CD-RW/DVD-Rom combo im using my I/O Magic 24x USB2.0 DVD Burner. a quick read atm my best updates for 2k is SP4 Update rollup 1, then from here its "Update Rollup 2" and " UURollup" i have downloaded UR2 and UURollup-v10d from http://www.windows2000.tk/#ur2 anything else im missin?

i had it working Just last bloody night... RIS w/ XP SP3 (still cant get nLited discs w/ drivers to work) but today i repartitioned the Main drive. in half 40GB for the OS, 40GB for the custom RIS images. the changes i've made, Install: EASEUS Partition Master SERVER Action: Partition drive in half diving space to OS and RIS Action Unistall from Windows componets WDS, Action Reinstall WDS Action: Remake RIS images (NEW): Sysprep the Dell inspirion to the Server. since doing so... no client PC can access Squat! always given PXE-E53 No boot filename Received on clients yet... they cant reach the Server. i dont Remember what i change don my Linksys WRT54G v2.2, i've tried no DHCP enabled, tried it enabled nada...

i have Windows Server 2003 SP2 (with WDS in Legacy Mode) but it seemed like it was having issues w. my nLite Modded i386 at point of installation where it reboots aftre teh first half of copying files to the Target PC. (common missing files) thers However one mod i've given up on when using RIS. USB Hack to allow XP install to and Boot from USB HDD's. (the txtsetup.SIF file gets modded) i want to do 2 thinsg atleast now., get my server to deploy a XP SP3 Generalized w/ drivers for the common PC's in my household (minus SATA Drivers those i'll install post install) and a Copy of XP SP3 Home (my Dell Inspiron 1300's OEM XP SP1 Home disc.) i have the drivers for the Generalized disc. and drivers and SP exe to slipstream for the Dell. how can i do this and what are teh steps? do i Just use the Orginal untouched Discs to make it create the RIS images then nlite the i386 folders or? Edit: as well how do i convert my RIS images to WIM's so i can use mixed mode WDS to Deploy XP and Windows 7? (this PC is needing to be redone soon but the DVD Drive is begining to fail (its struggling to read DVD discs but has no probs w/ CD's.

my bros pc does have the SATA in AHCI Mode, but doesnt use Raid. should i try reinstalling the drivers to fix the bug or ?

any way to fix the bug atleast?? as i made one in thens everything but drivers for this Dell inspiron w/o any bugs

this is the Last_Session ini. it will keep hanging on shutdown or restart. Any idea Why? Orgin vers: XP Pro SP2 CD , Slipstreamed SP3 LAST SESSION.INI
