To save time trawling through the registry I would open WinRAR and get the themes and setting to how you want it. Then select Options - Import/Export - Export settings to file. This will create Settings.reg in C:\Program Files\WinRAR.
Hope this helps

reg add "HKCU\Software\Ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\General" /v EnableShutDownCheckbox /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /fto
:: ----- Do not display the option to shut down the PC after burning -----
:: reg add "HKCU\Software\Ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\General" /v EnableShutDownCheckbox /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /fThis will give you back the shutdown check box.

Wouldn't it be easier to dowload the full .NET 1.1 from HERE and use
REG ADD %KEY%\053 /V 1 /D "%CDROM%\Software\dotNET Framework\dotnetfx.exe /s" /f
for a full silent installation.

USe VMWare since I first started doing my unattended testing. The only thing I don't like but can live with is when VMWare takes a hissy fit trying to install ISOBuster.

If your balnk DVD's are 4x or 4 speed, then you can only burn them at 4x. Theres nothing you can do about it as your DVD burner will check to see what speed the disks are and burn at that speed.

If you have signed up for the beta, you should have been sent an email giving you the download link and at the bottom of the email will be the key to use.

Have you copied your WINNT.SIF back into the I386 folder? If not this is the reason that you're getting the questions.

As MCT said 1 and 3 are already covered. The 2nd to get the patch to work is a bit harder. Anyway, what I have done is install MSN Messenger 7 and then apply the patch. Go to C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger and then create an SFX Rar of msnmsgs.exe and have it extract to %programfiles%\MSN Messenger and over write the original exe.
Hope this helps.

You could try this. create a folder called coverXP in $OEM$\$Pogs and copy the test.txt file in there. The $Progs will be automatically copied to Program Files when windows is installed. Hope this helps

RunOnceEx Windows
in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
Posted · Edited by yoz7120
I split my RunOnceEx into blocks of 20 and end each block with rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess and then start the numbering sequence back at 000. Been using this method without any problems.
