  1. Hi, a while ago I started on that Wireless Stuff under WinPE2. Maybe that here helps you a bit, I just needed to start some more filter driver and services to get the MAC Address on Wireless networkcards. So after you start wpeinit (to install the drivers) you should do this. netcfg.exe -l X:\Windows\inf\ndisuio.inf -c p -i ms_ndisuio netcfg.exe -l X:\Windows\inf\netnwifi.inf -c s -i MS_NativeWifiP net.exe start nativewifip make sure to have the inf files and driver files in the right directorys in your boot.wim file. Just jump through the INF Files to get the Files the INF likes to copy or install (just search for .sys). When all works out you are a step closer to get WiFi Support. Its long ago I played with that, but maybe the hint brings you to get it finished. regards dicht
  2. Hi, there have been many tries to get network install speed up.Its not the time for enumerating the inf files that makes Network installing slow, you can try devcon.exe and will see that it takes the same time. what really speeds up is an infcache.1 file in the inf folder. to generate this file use sherpya's infcachebuild.exe. InfCacheBuild regards dicht
  3. Hi, I got it booted from an USB Stick and some Boards that have an Award Bios where you can choose the emulation mode for usb (you must be able to emulate as hdd). than you can use a hp tool to partitioning and formatting the stick fat16 (i do not know the web adress at the moment from the tool).than copy the i386 dir to the stick and rename i386 to minint. Then copy ntdetect.com to the root and setupldr.bin to the root.rename setupldr.bin to ntldr. And set the stick active (thats normally done if you used the hp tools).after all that it should boot on some mainboards (not all). there was a big thread on the 911 forum thats closed at the moment. keep up dicht

  5. Hi PE Freax, i know that question is not a so legal question, but maybe someone out there knows how to get around the 24h timelimit of a PE with SP2.In PE SP1 it was the winlogon.exe that has to be patched. Is it now something with winpeshl.exe ? dicht
