  1. Very ambitious. It will be awesome if it lives up to the intention. People shouldn't be hostile for the potential this will make other programs obsolete. Down the line results will speak for themselves and people will use the program or set of programs that they feel the best is for them.
  2. Wow, that is really cool. I've already got my stuff setup in different ways, but if I were just starting I would definately try that. Thanks for sharing the info, SMKnight
  3. For a very similar situation last week I found and used the excellent program TestDisk. TestDisk I did not format over my data, only deleted the partition, but I think this program will still be able to find and restore yours. I lost no data and had no problems after I thankfully found this program... I hope your story ends the same way. Good luck, SMKnight
  4. Nice tutorial... but man, the icon collections that you've created on your site are very nicely done. hehe, last time I made icons was a collection of Mario/Nintendo icons for Windows 3.1 Great job!
  5. swampy, you are right of course, but I'd still be interested in having add to <archive>.zip and add to <archive>.rar to save that extra couple clicks if possible. A big part of unattended installs is about saving clicks.
  6. That's cool... seems like a lot to do just that, but very cool. Do you know if there would be any way to have both of these on the context menu for WinRAR: add to <archive>.zip add to <archive>.rar The goal as far as I'm concerned to be able to quickly and conviently use zip and rar formats while only installing WinRAR instead of WinRAR and WinZip.
  7. Thanks! This is good info. Even though most people seem to avoid spaces, this info should be made more promenant because it is behavior by the start command that goes against what feels like common sense. So if people have this problem it would be very confusing to debug. Good to know.
