  1. Nope. Neither programs seem to do the trick. The offending program that likes to freese is the MS Virtual PC Trial. Looks like I'll just have to find an uberold second machine to play all those dos games... which'd at least prolly be cheaper than buying VirtualPC when the trial runs out. God knows what MS is charging for the software.
  2. You could try using nLite to remove some of the excess unneeded things from the XP cd. My XP installation only takes up half a cd now and still includes slipstreamed SP2. http://nuhi.msfn.org/ I believe is where you'll find it.
  3. While I can bare using programs that like to freese up or hang from time to time. The real annoyance I can't stand is how badly the end task function in the task mannager works. Often I have to click end task multiple times. Or I have to go into processes where it's sometimes hard figuring out which program is which. And then there's the programs that no matter what I do, they still take a few mins to end, or they dont' end at all, requiring me to restart (which seems to have no trouble ending the task) Anyone know of any programs that can actuially end a task quickly and efficiently? Something nice and aggressive? Thanks.
