  1. Anyone knows the code to set the Adobe Reader SpeedUp in RunOnceEx.cmd?
  2. if you check the helpfile, see the add from database section, that will explain it Ok, got that. But that falls short of an explanation like this for Adobe Acrobat: 1. Start the original Acrobat 6.0.1 setup. 2. It will de-compress itself from the FEAD optimizer 3. Look in "C:\Windows\Cache" for the installer with MSI. 4. Open a command-window into that folder, and run the main MSI with the "/A" switch to make an admin-install point folder. 5. Copy away that folder safely, and install from there. 6. Download the 6.0.2 update, and start the setup, but don't click "Next". 7. Look in the folder "C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Local Settings\Temp\_is---" to get the extracted update. 8. Now keep both the admin-install and the update in one folder. 9. SFX them to extract silently to a folder of your choice. 10.Have your unattended scripts run both (the main+update) the MSIs with the /QB switch. The total time-saved during uA setup = 2 mins. Space saved on CD = 10 MB. In time the database can be a fantastic resource all by itself. Having all kinds of information for different ways of setting up the different programs. In any case, that was just an RFE for the future
  3. Nice. RFE: That the database contains a field with comments. If Acrobat 6 is listed in its .exe form and also in its .msi form, having comments would allow to explain how to get your own .msi from the .exe. But maybe that's for version 2.0 or 3.0 and you could have it in an .xml file. Great program Thank you!
  4. By the way, following the details mentioned to bring about the msi for both bits, anyone with the commands for the RunOnceEx.cmd for them together with ARSU 1.28? (all in runonceex format?)
  5. And I was forgetting, is it already in the database the entry for Messenger 6.2 in the SetupDL.exe format? Thanks B)
  6. Hey!! Great program, and just when I needed most. I've just downloaded it. I have the same problem as reported before (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=169409) Shouldn't your site or this forum contain a list of the current items in the database? And in the forum we can start colecting those that have been confirmed to work. Right now I don't know what's included in the DB, so I can't continue :/ By the way, the error was on a Windows Server 2003 with all patches from windows update applied. I'm finishing some nice RIS server installation and would like to have the RunOnceEx.cmd handle a Acrobat PDF 6.01 and the 6.02 patch as well as Adobe Reader SpeedUp 1.28 (fantastic utility - http://www.tnk-bootblock.co.uk/prods/misc/ - it removes unneded acrobat plugins from loading each time but loads them if ever needed) I was also after the 3 Windows Updates left in Windows Update after installing a slipstreamed version of XPSP2, that is: Windows Journal Viewer, .Net Framework 1.1 and Update for XP HighMat Support in CD Writing Wizard. The three can be downloaded from MS site as standalone. And the 6.02 update can be "captured" while installing it. Any luck with those already in the DB?
