  1. I tried that too, ("manual" integration), no problem there, but when I directed nLite to the source, it stopped responding at the same point again (scanning, size)... Also, I'd tried it with AV and firewall disabled before I came here - nothing... No malware, too... I guess I'll go to my cousin's and finish that CD before he updates the system to SP3 Thanks
  2. Same original source I've used first time when I successfully made XP+SP3 installation CD... Anyway, today I tried the procedure on my cousin's computer with XP SP2 installed (same source, same copy of nLite) and guess what - everything went smoothly without a hiccup... So, I would say it is definitely some kind of incompatibility between SP3 (or later update) and nLite. Anyway, thank you for responding!
  3. Just to confirm that there is another one with the same problem - I have exactly the same situation as DzigiBau: I tried nLite couple of years ago (with XP SP2 installed), it worked excellent and I really liked it; but now when I try to integrate newest updates and hotfixes (downloaded with Windows Updates Downloader) in my XP installation, it seems that there's no way that nLite can do it - it stops responding in scanning stage (numerous times). Looking for solution I discovered this discussion and tried your suggestions, but nothing worked (using SP3 with the most current updates).
