The answer to your question is Yes. RT7Lite needs WAIK 2 or WAIK 3, and you can only install these on Windows 7. You could try doing it from within a VM such as virtualbox, but i have no idea if that works... Thanks, that's what i do, into VM ... but it makes the process much longer and ponderous. Hi all, A friend of mine has this bug with a firmware LC11. Is it also concerned ? I have read different answers. Officially it is not mentionned by Seagate, but some people reported the opposite information. Thank.
