i justi nstalled windows vista prerc1 (my first attempt with vista), and it SURE looks nice ! i only play warcraft 3 (more or less ), but before trying it, i went to look for the latest drivers, and the ones form nvidia (88,61) didnt work. i installed them, and when instalation was half done (or so) the screen changed to a black screen with the "_" on the top left of the screen turning on and off (sry, i coulnd imagine a better way of describing it). after rebooting, i had a black screen, but windows was working, i could shut it down with the power button. any ideas ? (or drivrs ) im on vista now, after using the last known good onfiguration.

ive been using this soft to change icons on shell32.dll....... MANUALLY ! now i read i can prepeare a script to do it automatically, will it still be usefull each time microsoft updates this file? if so, i would apreciate a little example, cause i didnt get how to do it from the tutorial (an example for 1 icon is more than enough )

what happended to the "review pending" about the mp3 thingiE ? i had problems with it again, but im not sure if i installed the last release o the previous one (i installed unattendedly, and for some reason i forgot to delete the older one, and i dont know which one i used )

well, there was a dropdown box in the midle of the new interface with the cd/dvd option:P NEW problem something i did with nlite 1.0.1 disabled the media buttons on my logitech g15 (they work even with no drivers on a standard windows, i just tested that). any ideas ? i, once agin, leave the settings attached. When you go to burn the image in Nero, make sure the dropdown in the upper left corner of the Burn Compilation window is set to DVD and not CD.BTW, you might be able to get away with overburning if you're only adding an extra 12MB. now im using nerolite (some user made/omdified it, and its easier for silent instalation ) and im quiet sure that dropdown is not there (i THINK i started having the problem when i switched tho ) by the way, i went to a temp folder and found the drivers and another .exe that installed them, so, sort my lastp roblem is sort of fixed pd: im still doing something with nlite that breaks ryans pack unless i use 1.2.2 integrator

any idiea if something i might have done with nlite could be causing this error when trying to run the installer for the latest amd cpu drivers ? the same installer runs well on a non nlited windws (diferent language) i integrated ryans 2.1.0 pack with nlie. i leave a pic with the error and my settings for nliting. this might be a stupid error and i might feel stupid when i get the answer, but, before, i was able to burn the .iso nlite made with nero into a DVD. now, the .iso, 712 mb of information, cant be burned (or i dont know how), into a DVD, cause nero 7 (the most up to date version), tells me the compilation must be burnt into a CD. i only have 700 MB CDRWs, so i cant use those, and i need to bur 2 compilations (one with ide drivers integrated, and one without them, just in case xD), i have 2 dvdRW, but i dont know how to use them now , anything i might need to add while making the iso with nlite, or any special option in nero i dont know about ? (this is more or less urgent) edit: bleh, i was in a hurry, so i throwed in an ofice installer, but knowing how to properly fix this would be nice XD

weird, i need more sleep then (i dont have nlite installed now, i just installed an nlited windows with 1.0f) ill check soon. pd: any progress on the reg tweaks for visual settings ?

something ive been wondering for a ling time, in the tweaks sections, where you can specify wich services to start or not, there are MANY services i have never seen, also, the ones you remove in the remove components section, are still there. shouldnt nlite detect what is present in YOUR windows, and remove it from the list in the tweaks section ? i had a my services configured ones in a .reg file, but i deleted it after half or more of them got axed by nlite, and it would be nice to use the tweaks function for services still remaining, but its too confusing right now

because... ryanvm pack is NOT related to nlite, and sometimes, nlite was not able to integrate the pack, so it had to be done manually, and, AGAIN, i have to mention, thep ack and nlite are not related, so, ryan might have wanted to have an app of his own to integrate things, and have absolute control over it. thats what i think.

well, integrating it with nlite worked, with the same things removed, so.. ? xD 2.07 (with no a) and integrator 1.2.2 and nilite (same config) worked too. i got 1.2.2 again,ill test it and report. EDIT: 1.2.2 is ok (but nlite is good too ), something is wrong with 1.3.0 and the stuff i chose.

what do you mean ? right click > repair on the network conection ? if you mean that, i can with no problem. i only tested on vmware so far.

what error are you getting ? i can disable lan on VMware, and the only error i see related to NetBT is one telling me the computer name is not unique. (i do have another error about windows setup, and in the setuperr.log it says something about not beeing able to enumerate something pd: nuhi, a guy said over ryans forum that the problem is not there with integrator 1.2.2

wierdddddddddddddddddd nlite + ryan pack (integrated with nlite) works. so i must THINK that the problem is between nlite and integrator 1.3.0

as i explained before, if i use nlite after integrating ryans pack (2.0.7a) with the last integrator (1.3.0), i get missing files and a bsod after instalation is complete. it was OK with ryans 2.7.0 (no a here) and integrator 1.2.2 (nlite always 1.0final). ill leave my last session preset (i think thats what u needed). i tried diferent conifgs and all are a no go. Last_Session__2006.06.28_14.26.00_.ini

you should ATTACH that file, its way to long to be posted regarding my problem, nlite alone works wonders, ryans 2.0.7 + integrator 1.2.2 + nlite was perfect. ryan 2.0.7a + integrator 1.3.0 perfect. nlite alone : perfect ryan 2.0.7a + integrator 1.3.0 + nlite = no go ill start searching for integrator 1.2.2 again ( i deleted it)

strange, i am using the same nlite, SAME nlite options, and only new ryan pack + new integrator (this one doesnt have the option to remove the cat fiels, so the file protecion option in nlite is available, i will check that and see what happens )

anyone having trouble using nlite AFTER integrating rans 2.07a pack with the 1.3.0 integrator ? 2.0.7 with 1.2.2 was ok, and the new pack with no nlite is ok too, but the three of em toghether, results in "missing files" during the text mode part of the instalation (and a bsod atthe end of the gui part, if i chose to skipp al the files). this is a combined nlite + ryan problem, but ryan alone works, thats why i posted here XD

when i used office 97, wich was in spanish, i had no need for this, the same was true for office xp for a while, but i lost my cds, downloaded new ones, and the spanish dictionary was not there (no big problem, i had no need for it at that time) im testing office 12 (prerelease) now, and it only has english dictionaries, can i download a sapinsh one somwherE ?

i kinda liked the look on a previous version i had downloaded (but i had no invitation so i coulndt use it ) with green + grey + orange the icon on the taskbar and shortcut was green too, i liked that also (i always hated msn icons, i use TRILLIAN, but i was told msn 8 had options to modify the skinn and i wanted to try it, but i see no skin option (other than the littel option to change colors). pd: the ADDS (publicity) are not nice

but its not really a 64bit antivirus, its just compatible with x64 (fully compatible that is), but still, its a 32bit app, it installs under program files (x86), and consumes a lot of memory.
