Download this guide i made, shows you how to speed up XP, how to free up and disable some services you dont need(frees up ram) and also how to improve the overall performance of XP. Download HERE Also, go to Start Button, Run and type in msconfig and disable any services running upon boot up. Also go to these registry entries to stop servies from loading also. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Some programs also allow to disable upon start up. Yeh you can do it that way but easier and faster is to copy and paste the run command instead of fiddling around with te SYSOC.inf file. Again, user choice

Its not TweakXP shareware program. Its TweakUI made for Microsoft and hosted on Microsoft site. Unread mail removal Start/Run/Regedit: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\[Your E-Mail Address]. In the right pane modify: Message Count, Change it to 0. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail. In the right pane modify: MessageExpiryDays Change it to 0. Remove Windows Messenger Remove Messenger from XP Start/Run/ RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove Not using VBS or EXE files can limit you. User choice

To get rid of the email addresses when you sign into messenger. Go to Start/Control Panel Select User accounts. Click on your account, in the left column, select Manage My Network Passwords. Delete/remove the email address of choice. This is already available. Download TweakUI from the powertoys site Here Also here Uninstall Windows MSN. here This stuff is already available. Anyways
