Is there no way to accurately determine the build of the installation?

Hi, How can I determine which version of Windows XP 64 Bit I'm having? I haven't got the final yet so I would like to give the latest RC a try. I just want to make sure I've got the latest though. If I look at the version info of the setup.exe file I get to see version 5.1.2600.0. Is this the actual build? Which build version does RC2 have? Or is there even a later edition? If yes, which build version does that one have? What build version does the final release have?

Maybe I'm missing something, is or isn't this new generic USB driver included in this package? If not, why not? Since the other one is removed it would be a valuable addition. Having a SP which requires you to install a different package again seem a bit a contradictory to me ;-)
